Thanks infinitypass. That brightened up my night. We’d been using the old thread but I’ll get a new one up in a few days if no one else does. I’m not going to wear out any favors so I’m not going to ask any questions. We know Dead & Co will be first Saturday. We sadly lost John Prine and Chick Corea. Top acts for 2020 were The Who, Dead & Company, Stevie Nicks, Foo Fighters, Lizzo, Lumineers, Black Crowes, Lenny Kravitz, Brandi Carlisle, Avetts, Norah Jones and Erykah. I’d love to see The Who one more time, and it would be cool if Pearl Jam played it again since it will have been 5 years.
My friend said JRAD is the second weekend so she's going to that one.
They are playing a 2 night run at Mardi Gras World which would be an after show not affiliated. Dead & Company is weekend 1 which would be weekend 2 of ACL. That’s the thing about JF. It runs from noon til 7. But then there are dozens of shows, late shows and overnight shows all over town with sit ins and superstar unannounced shit that if you’re lucky enough to be there you get to see.
my parents spent lunch arguing over who’s gonna take the second of two 3 day passes ultimately deciding that my dad is gonna get a one day pass for whatever day George plays. Godspeed to him, it’s gonna be brutal.
sort of wondering if a bunch of the hip hop missing that was on Lolla is doing Astroworld, going to be real bummed when that's my only chance to see slowthai

Biggest fears with this is Modest Mouse against Phoebe Bridgers on Saturday and Erykah Badu against St. Vincent on Sunday (weekend one). Everything else looks pretty decent for my taste.
2021 08-07: Japanese Breakfast @ Union Transfer 09-08: My Morning Jacket / Brittany Howard @ The Mann 09-18: Soccer Mommy @ Union Transfer 10-01 thru 10-03: Austin City Limits Music Festival 10-19: Waxahatchee @ Union Transfer 10-27: Arlo Parks @ The Foundry 11-09: Squid @ Johnny Brenda's 11-17: Monophonics @ World Cafe Live 12-01: Caribou @ Union Transfer
Kinda wish Erykah Badu was on Friday both weekends cos of potential St. Vincent conflict but maybe they’ll have one pre-headline main & one close out a different stage.
Tho if one of them were to pre-headline for Stevie I’d be tempted to just chill out there lol.
