If Rage is playing Boston Calling then they’re playing Lollapalooza
How does that work?
BC and Lolla always share two headliners. (Travis and TOP last year, Jack White and The National the year before). ACL and Lolla share a good chunk of artists because of C3.
The less-traveled route on the Lady Bird Lake side of the fest has fancy signage as well. Last year was the first time I didn't enter from that side all weekend, oddly.

It's the most inconvenient entrance imo. The main entrance always has a massive line but it's the most convenient.
The shuttle with the West Barton Springs entrance is the way to go if you ask me, but I'm also biased because I was a volunteer and volunteer HQ was right next to that entrance.
Still, the shuttle makes a WORLD of difference, although at night it can take forever to get a ride back.

2014 was one of the few ACL's last decade I skipped, but missing PJ was my one regret that year. It might be a bit tricky for me to make it this year, but them and a pre-election Rage would be hard to pass up.
They were good, I enjoyed it more at Roo 16, but I also left early to get the shuttle back.
Rage - PJ would be nice.
Still feel like we'll get Posted and probably need to put more pop in the top lines.
I did just think today it would be nice to get Bon Iver. Idk what he'll be doing in October but he hasn't played ACL as long as I've been going and he should be a target
I'd love to have PJ but what about it makes it such a lock without any fall dates? Anyone wonder if they possibly waited to drop their fall touring schedule to hide their billing for ACL or Lolla?
A lot of these "it's a lock" for ACL have been very random. Might as well remember our Top 3 rock acts last year (Cure, GNR, Mumford) last year were not booked at any other c3 fests (well GNR did but that was the hard rock version of roo)
Has everyone counted out MCR as a possibility? I feel like them not being at coachella this year maybe helps our chances, but maybe not. I'd be thrilled with some combination of Rage/MCR/PJ
