I know, I was musing more if all four of them would show just to accept, nevermind perform! Although that would be fantastic, I will likely go to this if that's not the weekend I go to Vegas as Barclays is just down the street from me. They put out a very nice (and very Rage) statement of gratitude today signed by all four of them, so I am a bit optimistic!

I had tickets and it got cancelled after 3 years of holding onto them. And it was a light at the end of the covid-tunnel for me and my best friend who worked in healthcare and was super anxious about covid. We had that date circled as "pandemic really is over" twice.
Part of me hopes they aren't done but part of me doesn't want the disappointment of them announcing a 2024 tour and not getting tickets this time, or worse they just skip my city. So maybe just let the music stand for itself and live on.

Tom was alone at their HOF introduction. Maybe the others don’t care but feels like they’re probably done for a while again.
3 members of Radiohead didnt go to their induction either so its not totally a sign theyre done. I think taking the part where Tom says to start your own band if you never saw Rage was just to inspire people. I dont think they would have wanted to have done one leg of a tour and call it a day. Zach just never goes to anything anyway so that wasnt surprising. Although how they didnt have anyone attempt a performance for then was a bummer. Hell, they couldve had Annie Clark play guitar and that wouldve kicked ass.

Barring any health setbacks, I have a hard time believing they’d end their tour like that, especially when 2024 is an election year

He seems perfectly fine. Just a matter of them deciding to do things or not at this point. Not as if there arent plenty of offers on the table one way or another. I mean even if they did LA Rising again leading up to next Nov it would be nice.

I don’t enjoy wishing ill on people but I hope all the bad things in the world happen to the person who threw that bottle on stage Zach tripped over and only him
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

was it confirmed that that's actually what happened? i can't see him step on anything in this:
sort of a moot point but if that is the case i'll join you.
regardless, what a shame man. i was just saying to my buddy who went to the MSG shows with me (as we walked in there for phish) about how the further away we get from those shows, the happier i am about the decision we made to do all 5 of them. obviously, even more so now that we likely saw the last RATM show ever. i say likely because lord knows they've changed their minds plenty already, but that plus tom's speech at the RNRHOF induction are as definitive of statements as any before.

Only caught them twice, once this time around and once at Lolla 08 (my first multi day fest). That Lolla show is still a top 5 all-time show for me. Grateful I saw them. Really sucks between COVID and the injury that this comeback tour got so derailed.
