I don't buy this DMB talk. DMB hasn't played a non-Live Nation music festival in a very long time.
I totally get the skepticism...I'm definitely skeptical myself.
I dunno, I just really want him there. There's a gap in his schedule. He has to drive in that general direction. Some guy in a bowling alley said so. Fingers crossed
While this sounds good....it just sounds too expensive, IMO.
They may be able to swing 2/3, but I don't see a scenario where we get all three.
I think it will be something like...
DMB - Billie - Megan
Again, assuming our Dave analysis and bowling alley rumors have any merit at all lmao.
I don't know if it's too expensive, Life is Beautiful got Green Day - Billie - Tame.
I would say in terms of fee:
Green Day = DMB Billie = Billie Foo = Tame (Foo is probably more expensive on second thought, but Firefly is a bigger festival with an extra day, so i think that bridges the gap).
But Firefly has also rolled Halsey and Post as their 3rd headliners in recent lineups so not getting my hopes that they'll pull Foo Fighters as a Number 3 this year.
I'd say Foo Fighters are significantly more expensive than Tame and Dave is more expensive than Green Day. Dave and Foos are both #1s at most festivals they play and even Billie at this point is probably not cheap. This seems too expensive, but that's just a guess.
Is this just a general comment about how festival lineups work?
Typically Firefly (and most festivals really) will make an announcement before releasing the lineup. Not always, but it'd be abnormal for the lineup to just appear out of the blue.

How the Is Firefly alcohol situation inside the grounds? Is it wide open or only certain areas? Anyone ever brought an RV there?
Never brought an RV in, there are a few spots for RV's but all in South camping (the less desirable entrance). As far as alcohol, you can drink wherever.

Alcohol situation is whenever wherever, pretty much. Campgrounds, inside the festival, etc. And I did the RV for the first time last year - will never go back to camping haha

Don’t miss The Brewery- near the Firefly main stage- hosted by local craft brewer Dogfish Head. They serve reasonably priced drafts of several of their regular ales and some brewed especially for the festival. My favorite alcohol concession of any festival.

The Brewery is solid, but the craft beer tent at Coachella tops it imo.
