I didn’t think ZHU has really done anything since 2016
was never a Zhu fan but it always rubbed me the wrong way when he cancelled a bunch of shows "to work on new music". made him sound like a crazy person, imo.
OSL lineup looks pretty good to me but almost any lineup right now looks pretty good to me.
Superb undercard here, probably the best I've seen from OSL in 3-4 years:

It's not bad, but nothing I'd fly across the country for.
And I second the unusually cold part. The year I went, it barely cracked 60 during the day in the park. Downtown SF at least got to the upper 60s. Oakland was in the 70s, and another 30 miles inland it was in the 90s. The ocean effect creates some weird microclimates out there.

Gonna really consider this, mostly out of desperation for any concert and my sadness over having three Tame shows canceled this year. Never been to OSL but the colder weather actually sounds really nice.
It’s very overcrowded, unusually cold for an August festival, and ends way too early. .
when was colder weather a bad thing? The crowds I agree with, cause it just ends up being a big pre college meet up weekend and everyone talks a fuck ton. And any city festival ends at 10, so whats your point? Lolla ends at 10, so does ACL, Riot Fest, Pitchfork, any complaints there?
I think the price is just getting to the point where there isnt as much value for what youre paying for. Yeah there will be the Barbary, Heineken House and Gastro Magic additions, but you wont end up seeing as many acts because of the layout and conflicts that come about. Still some great food selections though.
