Tyler Childers - Long Violent History
HM: Fleet Foxes Anna von Hausswolff Sault Avalon Emerson
Bill Callahan
Doves
The Flaming Lips
Was kinda underwhelmed by the two big albums that came out this month, one very much so in particular. This Childers album wasn't on my radar at all, especially since it was a bluegrass/old-time album. It's really great.
There's a couple of people who voted who didn't put album titles with their pictures and I don't know the names of the albums (I even remember listening to one of them.) If we could do that in the future please!

Sorry; I know it doesn’t mean much at this stage but I voted for Yelle - L’Ère du Verseau this month.

No worries! I know I've found new stuff I like from what people have voted for for AOTM before which a big reason why it's better with the names. Also don't want to leave anyone out when I'm counting the votes.

Absolutely eating up this Nu-Disco trend that’s going on
Can you give me some examples? That sounds like my kind of album
The big ones I was thinking of was Dua Lipa’s, Jessie Ware’s and Róisín Murphy’s new ones. Róisín’s was the one that made me post that. All really great albums

Don’t want to wait til Friday for new music? Low Cut Connie dropped the 17 song Private Lives album midweek. Low fi garage rock to a piano ballad to finish the album. Was planning on seeing them at a fest this summer but alas...
