I would agree it won't be a packed show and I wouldn't really care if they get a tent, LN is just gonna be a shit show this year. With the other going to 6am, do you think which will go later than previous years? I could see two LN which sets.
maybe magic isn't the right term, but all the large headlining EDM acts have been LN. odesza was pre-hl last year but there a little outside of what i'm considering "headlining" edm. skrillex, bassnectar, flume, pretty lights, major lazer etc. the high energy sets are awesome to have after the headliner.

Okay I see what you mean, the pacing does work better that way. Do you think Flume > Lizzo still works? Because I'm thinking that'll be the most likely scenario
Listening to the podcast now — for the benefit of those who don’t, an important distinction is that the guy who books The Other is C3, not AC. I feel like that matters for why that stage lineup continues to feels so disconnected and unadventurous.

Also Tenacious D was what, fifth in 2010? I remember they played the What and were pre-HL before the ham sandwich incident. Anyone think that’ll happen again instead of LN?

Other will almost certainly be scheduled until sunrise, given the number of wook bass acts booked each day

i agree, i think the last two acts of the night might be some of the smaller names

If it’s Oysterhead, I doubt they have them overlap, so I think it could look something like:
But honestly it would surprise me zero if they just let Gizz have the Which LN and play an extended set with Oysterhead playing which before Lizzo. I agree that they might struggle to fill the field but I think they’d ultimately pull it off.

Same - one of the reasons why I think Gizz ends up on the Which tbh. I think one tent will have something like Yaeji -> Hip-Hop act (or possibly just 2 hip-hop acts), and that another will have the Superjam. That just leaves the Which. Seems like the proper contrast of choices that way.

Brittany Howard->Turkauz->Miley->Tool->Pigeons on Friday and
Marcus King->Billy Strings->Isbell->Oysterhead->Lizzo->Tenacious D on Saturday
I would also love if Sunday was VW->Lana->Tame back to back on the which but I've accepted the fact that I am going to have to miss Lana to get pit for VW
