Denzel just put out a (short) album with Kenny Beats and it's a lotta fun and pretty good can't wait to see 20 minutes of it when I have to split between 3 acts on Saturday night

Don't miss out on the inevitably intense Denzel Curry moshpit

Somehow my moshpit requirements have become Curry, JID, Tool, Cyrus.
Good. Then I will be able to save for my ticket while I am in this new baller position.
good for you. I may return as well but haven’t pulled the trigger. I think it’s the inevitable dread of a potential 14 hour drive that holds me back.
With the release of the Other Stage, what time can we expect or predict the biggest Other names to like Tipper to play?
Thanks! I don't blame you for dreading a 14 hr drive, that is crazy. I dread the 8 hrs it takes us to get there, but thejeremy got a jeep last year and we got a rack for it. So I am hoping that makes the drive/packing better since the Fit won't be crammed full of shit. It would be great if you could make it back too though.
Tipper at 4am doesn't seem logical but would be fun
yeah i know the other goes all night now, but i still think the other headliner-type names will be earlier (like the first LN slot) with smaller names playing until sunrise.

Dynohunter (Friday) sounds like something I'd schedule for the middle of the night. Wouldn't be surprised if that show is the last of the day. I hope to see this show so hopefully I'll still be alive by then.
DJ Mel seems logical to close the stage on Saturday.
I'm probably in the minority here but I kinda hate that EDM has its own stage where it's the only programming and then they're scheduling EDM acts on other stages late night. If you're someone like me who isn't terribly motivated by a lot of that music it really limits your late night option.

Yes but where else at Roo are you more likely to rail molly off someone's ass? Roo is more than just the music, bro.

Agreed
It’s gotten better but it was real bad in like 2017 when EDM was your only option for a good chunk of the nights

I missed 18 and 19 so I'm encouraged to hear that it's not as bad. Every time someone points out an act that's not on The Other my someone kicks a kitten in my soul.

all i'm hearing is complaints about the other stage but the magic of roo isn't about who will be there it's about DISCOERING allthe amazing molly

It's okay we'll definitely have Primus late night Friday and King Gizzard late night Saturday

And Sylvan Esso. and probably some decent hip-hop on both nights. It's actually looking like it could be a pretty great and diverse late night year
My favorite thing about mock schedules (and even the real one) is that I get all excited for all the shows I'm gonna see and how music-packed my days are, and then I go to Roo and average about 4 shows a day. I saw tons of music my first Roo when I was solo and literally had nothing else to do other than perhaps wander (fun) or sit at camp by myself (boring), but nowadays tbh there's a lot of stuff that I'd like to see but in the moment would be fine skipping. Like for Friday this year I'll def be at Turkuaz and plan on catching most if not all at Tool, but there's nothing else I NEED to see. And when it's hot and I'm in the shade at camp bullshitting it's real hard to get up and venture out to catch a band I just heard about six months ago and I barely know any of their songs. And that's after digging into the lineup.
