Speaking of disposable income, stubhub prices are now in the 500’s after all the 400’s sold out. Not sure if any of that includes camping as it doesn’t specify other than 4 Day GA’s.

Bonnaroo is at $510 before fees right now, that’s about $25 more than W2 of Coachella and $6 behind W1. That’s pretty crazy...

But how dare you pay 450ish/4 to 5 days of festing that isn't a total accomodation shit show like it was in 2006-2009. Why give a fuck that they build established areas in the middle of a goddamn farm, that you get to enjoy for 150-200/day to see at least 5-8 acts (more if your ambitious). How DARE we.

I'd say the prices will peak soon as people who missed out on direct sales panic and buy now for fear of missing out. As we get later in the game, prices will drop down as more people realize they can't go or people who have known just try to get their ticket sold. The basement for prices will still probably be higher than it has been in quite a while though.
So are we thinking Late Night announcements in a couple of weeks, then Cafe Acts Lineup in April, followed by Schedule in May?
Schedule has been mid April. I don’t see why they would change it
Some hopeful thinking but with this year being sold out, I'm hoping maybe we can get those late night announcements this week. Last year the schedule came out a couple days before Coachella's schedule and it'd be nice if that could happen again.
King Gizz's 33-song setlist from a Wildfire Benefit Show they put on last weekend:
Set 1: Planet B Mars for the Rich I'm in Your Mind I'm Not in Your Mind Cellophane I'm in Your Mind Fuzz Plastic Boogie The Great Chain of Being Her and I (Slow Jam 2) Organ Farmer Perihelion People-Vultures Mr. Beat Muddy Water Digital Black Han-Tyumi the Confused Cyborg (Tour debut) Vomit Coffin Murder of the Universe
Set 2: Self-Immolate Crumbling Castle This Thing Sense Let Me Mend the Past Boogieman Sam Cyboogie Wah Wah Road Train Willoughby's Beach (First time since 2014) Sea of Trees (First time since 2017) Work This Time Superbug Hell Float Along - Fill Your Lungs (Tour debut)
It kinda feels like it's pointless to try to familiarize myself with King Gizz before Bonnaroo.
Here's a playbook...
Listen to the following three albums while exercising 2 times each: I'm in your Mind Fuzz, Nonogon Infinity, Infest the Rats Nest then Listen to the first 6 or so songs from Fishing For Fishies and see if that style is for you. then If you aren't head over heels by this point but are still enjoying and planning on attending their set, just pluck off a few of the setlist staples from the other albums like Head On / Pill, Lord of Lightning, Crumbling Castle
If you are head over heels, move on to Polygon, Flying Microtonal Banana... then Murder the Universe and Quarters... then the rest.

cdevaney I made a playlist a little while ago for this very reason
To avoid creating new conflicts, I usually wait until after the schedule comes out to dig too deep into unfamiliar artists. I will give this a spin tomorrow at work, though.

You know deep down that this isn't a great strategy though. You want to have months of time spent with the music. Create some memories with it. Have it mean something to you when you see the artist walk on stage. A cram session won't give you that.

Meh. It's worked for me for fourteen previous Bonnaroos. A month is not exactly a cram session.
