You got the head cold also? Everyone in this city has it. My lungs hate me more than usual. I had it for a couple days, it went away for a week and came back with vengeance. Straight from the sinus to the lungs. Ugh. The worst.
Sucks, but I’m looking forward to saying what’s up. That was really cool last year to see people I knew like Todd, Jake and Druid, among others, and getting to meet everyone else. I have less Bonnaroo years than times some people have gone. So it’s a cool thing to be able to say what’s up to people you read, laugh with, disagree with and learn from throughout the work day. You, Pablo, Vic V, agarr and tons of other people I like here that I haven’t met will be there too. Maybe even get to say what’s up to postjack who I’m certain I’ve been to 25 or more events with but never crossed. Shit, maybe I’ll even run into Phi who I haven’t seen in years. Haha. Glad y’all are making it.
See, my problem is that I've made it to brunch like three times and only met a total of about four people in total. It's gonna be hard to avoid meeting people this year.

Yeah. It’s all head right now. I avoided it for a few weeks, but maybe Mardi Gras day kicked my immune system ‘s ass plus who knows what all I came in contact with. Haha. Going to Pensacola this weekend so hopefully the sea air will clear me up. Hope you get well soon.
Well fuck, I just had to empty my bank account to move into a new apartment and me and some friends were all waiting to get paid tomorrow. Game on I guess. Signing onto the exchange.

How feasible would it be for them to release a new batch of tickets at some point before the fest starts? Like they lowered the sellout number so they could make a ton of announcements to sell more quickly in the winter months and are holding a huge chunk back to release and get even more excitement built up closer to June?

Maybe that's tinfoil-hatty, I don't know
I'd imagine they'll at least release a few from the people who default on payment plans.

yeah, this year they specifically made the option to pay off payment plan tickets in full, and I assume it was to get a clearer picture of how many of those are going to actually be paid off
I imagine there are a good amount of payment plans folks who aren’t going to make their payments
Taska black, big wild, ganja white knight, lucii, seven lions, subtronics, yaeji, dr fresch, peekaboo, and lsdream are all pretty decent. Definitely won't be seeing all of them but just went through the lineup and listed the ones I like.
As far as specifically bass music, I've liked Detox Unit and especially Mize. Dr Fresch I thought was fine.
Yaeji and Dynohunter aren't really that type of music, but those are my top two electronic acts.

I plan on making a longer post about it at some point, but I fucking love Troyboi
Who knew Lizzo, Tame Impala and Tool could help Bonnaroo sell out and generate so much hype.
According to the current Inforoo Festival Draft, based on when headliners were selected, it's the best Top 3 since... 2009 maybe. I only did the math going back to 2013.
Hey thanks Jaz . I never dreamed this fucker was going to sell out. I was going to fiddle fart around until the last minute and get a ticket. Then I would be left paying those hefty prices Larry Farnsworth laughs at us for paying.

Bonnaroo deserves credit for booking a bunch of acts that will appeal to Tool fans (Oysterhead, Primus, Tenacious D, Flogging Molly, etc). I'm guessing you're going to see the most cargo shorts per capita since like 2011.

Cargo shorts are super efficient for a festival. Also, they are flattering on my dad bod. Well, not flattering. But it's not like they're jorts!

I agree 100%. Cargo shorts are hands down the best garment for both festival stuff and dad stuff.
Cutoff jean shorts can be quite fashionable, esp in a festival setting. More so than cargo shorts, but I agree that cargoes have more utility. Nowadays I ditch the backpack and just do a fanny pack during late night, but I don't have the best back and get pretty sore even though the fanny pack usually just has my phone, smoking supplies, and wallet. Not ready to make the jump to cargo shorts though.

I dress for comfort first and style second at Bonnaroo, however I still like to pick cute items. Proper footwear is the most important thing though, having wrecked feet at Roo sucks.

I swear by Adidas with their boost soles at Bonnaroo, they are spongy enough to give my back a break, but still breath well (with primeknit) and give good support.
