Is there any interest in an Inforoo Groop? I haven't seen anything like this so this thread is intended to gauge interest in such a Groop, where you could arrive whenever is best for you, have a semi-prearranged camping spot, and be around people you may have already met or at least have some level of trust with. I have not started such a Groop and am not necessarily offering to do so, but I thought it was an idea worth exploring.
The downsides include Groop camping not being super close to Centeroo (neither is TO anymore, unfortunately), it costs $50, and unless I'm misunderstanding things you need an average of three people per vehicle to make the parking passes work. On the upside, there's the people factor (major plus), having a known spot that isn't in Pod 11 (er, Plaza 11?) regardless of arrival time, and some flexibility on how we'd use our space, perhaps for brunch.
Of course non-Inforoo friends and family would be welcome and expected, whether driving with you or not. And for anyone who hasn't heard, they'll supposedly be changing the entry and parking procedures in order to make the lines move more quickly and fill the campgrounds from the squarch out, meaning the earliest arrivals get parked closest. That certainly benefits those of us who intend to arrive early on Wednesday, but for everyone else a Groop might be a nice option. Perhaps such a Groop could even result from a merger of two or more otherwise independent groups brought together by Inforoo, I don't know.
Please free to share any thoughts or suggestions, I'm just spitballing here. If this has already been discussed somewhere and I missed it please forgive me.

I'm up for anything. I seriously should start figuring out my plans for the trip. Preferably I would love to team up with someone and share camping space.
I actually really don't care about distances to other campsites or centeroo. So many hours in a day to make it to where you need to be and so many cool people to meet on your way there.
Reviving this thread (new here so apologies if I missed a newer thread). I'm really hoping to make it back to the farm this year after a several year hiatus. Unfortunately, it looks like none of my friends are going to commit, so I'd love to join a groop and avoid going solo. (Not the end of the world, I know. I went solo in 2015. Had an absolute blast and met some great people. No regrets. But would prefer to share the experience with some friends!)

I’m leading a Groop of 18 currently. We still need a couple more to get to 24 so you are welcome to join us! Feel free to PM me for more details (That goes to anyone else interested as well).
