lol I just read on twtter than he would be calling plays the rest of the year. Then he's fired? That's funny.
yeah he said something like that before this week as well. Dudes an absolute chump that conned his way into being his own gm and we are absolutely handicapped with like 3 or 4 good players.
I hope they get someone in there can get Deshaun some help. It's been painful to watch.

That's awesome. It's going to take a long time to undo the damage he's done, though.
I started listening to a podcast from Battle Red Blog after the Nuk trade, out of schaudenfreude. The guys on it are pretty good in their analysis, and obviously they hated the trade and hate BOB. I was listening to some of today's episode earlier, where they were lamenting how poorly the Texans were in the passing game against Minny's weak passing defense. I hope they do an emergency reaction pod this afternoon.

Romeo is a pretty meh stop gap. I feel like we've got enough weapons to entice good coaches but I'm more worried about what quality of gm we can get seeing how the guy will need to be a financial masochist who knows how to evaluate deep draft talent.

If he hadn't traded Nuk, I think they could build something. That really fucked them.

That, but I think the Tunsil trade is actually a good deal worse. Two firsts (this year's and next year's) as well as next year's second. That really hamstrings the next GM. They should have been able to get more back in the Hopkins trade, though. All they got was a second, a fourth and a washed-up RB.

yea I think the OL is the biggest issue. He's constantly running for his life. But Nuk was always there to bail him out.
Tunsil was so bad last year, he's playing fine now, but based on our record we could probably have gotten someone just as fine at like 1/100th the cost.
*He only allowed 3 sacks last year but led OTs in penalties, this year he's at 0 and 0, but thats hardly worth it
The thing that bothers me is, this ended up being a winnable game for the Pats. The defense did pretty well considering. The offense meanwhile kept blowing it, between taking sacks and throwing picks and the strip fumble. Had Newton played, it would have been a lot better.
I never realized there was a NFL season thread going on in here. Twitter is a shitshow to talk sports so this is cool.
IF any of you are gamblers I sell picks for $100 a week too for NCAA and NFL from Thurs-Mon. IF anyone is interested feel free to shoot me a msg on here and Ill get you all the info.
The Bills are surrounded by Covid flare ups. They played the Raiders last week, they've got the Titans up next, and the Pats around the corner. The Chiefs are in a similar situation.
They should pause NE and TN. The Bills should play the Broncos this week. They're the Pats opponent this week and they play the Bills in December. They can try to reschedule later but get games that are safe played.
In truth, they should've built the season with like like four weeks on, one week off to give more flexibility.

I feel like they may need to pause the season. There are too many teams right now in flux. We won't really know the full extent of the Patriots/Chiefs outbreak (if there is one) until the end of the week.

Mindblowing that it took a "player revolt" to get BOB fired. He's one of the worst GMs of all-time and started the season 0-4. If he *had the locker room*, he might still be around? Amazing.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought that. Some teams just refuse to abandon a coach who obviously isn't working out.
