Silver Surfer, are you waiting until after the round closes for this theory? Because no extension is needed unless someone switches a vote...unless you are going to give us the theory before the round ends.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Would it be better for me, or anyone else on MD, to switch to Jaz so that we have three revoters with a decision to make?
My ideal would probably be MD and Jaz both staying in, but getting votes from Teddy, Rummy and Surfer would be good, too. Not getting a ton from Teddy or Rummy so far, and Surfer did whatever he did. I understand him not wanting to detail his idea on Day 1, so I'm not holding that against him, per se, but it does raise eyebrows obviously.
I'm not always super keen on the strategy of always setting it up for the most revotes. I think it can lead to manipulation if Mafia manages to game who is set up for revotes ahead of time. But three revotes from those three players in particular is looking fairly juicy to me right now, and much moreso than Jaz getting his vote back.

By "it" raising eyebrows, I mean his initial move to shake things up, not his refusal to explain. Refusing to explain until Day 2 makes perfect sense to me.

Yeah that would be fine by me. I hadn’t even considered the revoters.
potent did--who else? (not challenging you at all, just don't see the other switch in last couple pages but I could've missed it scanning back through just now)

I think two moves off someone in a particular round is more telling than a whole game
I would agree. I was simply pointing out that everyone in has had multiple people move off them at some point, because you didn't initially specify.
So, as things stand, we've got Teddy, Rummy and yourself choosing between Carini and Jaz. Another three-revote scenario would be if Jaz moved to MD, we'd have Jortles, Dan and Manders choosing between Jaz and Maddog. Do you have a preference between those two? Does anyone else?
I know it has been multiple years since I've done this shit, but is 10 pages standard for Day 1? And we aren't even done. Having some discussion & vote-switches can be helpful for Day 2 onward, certainly. But this many switches, some seemingly for no reason beyond maybe just muddying the waters??

We've had quite a few games like this in the last year or so. I personally like it and think a good detective will have a better shot of wading through more info even if some of that info is muddy.

It's definitely not the standard for there to be this much action on Day 1. The switches may confuse things, but the discussion (and lack thereof from some) will probably be helpful to the Inspector and other Townies. The switches may be useful to the Inspector, too, but probably less so for vanilla Townies. Pre-reveal, anyway.
