I don't recall anyone requesting to change the length of time for the rounds.
My objection was to the idea of 'oh I know what he'll take so I'll just state his intent.' That's a load of crap. Either you make your pick or you proxy. That's how it works. There are plenty of people that have picks at inconvenient times, be they in Australia, Belgium, the west coast or just being on a different schedule. I'm just not okay with the whole 'I know who my friend wants but he didn't tell me to pick for him but somebody else may get who he wants so I'll pseudo proxy for him.'
Luckily in this case he woke up for his pick so this didn't have to actually get dramatic.
Again, I'm fine with him getting his selection. He traded into the spot for a reason.

No you dont. Either you make the pick or you set up proxy. My friends can pick for me if my time is running out isn't how this works. I actually saw it this morning before cdevaney commented. I didn't have time to say anything, but best believe if I was picking after you and your time was up I would've picked Thom Yorke. I don't care if everyone knew that's who you were going to pick. If your time is up it's up.
