Not much has happened, but it does stand out to me that Rummy and Teddy both were late voters for Jaz, but now all 3 are positioned to be in the runoff
I was asking Jaz why is LD the one he thinks Danbob left out? Am I missing where he specified the other two?
Oops! Thanks for clarifying; I didn't realize you were asking that of me., or that Dan hadn't actually mentioned any names. My brain probably just made the connection since Rummy and Teddy were listed first in the post and LD was last. Didn't mean to put words in Dan's mouth. This is why you don't play Mafia while smoking and drinking.
At this point, Jaz, Dan, and NBF should essentially cast their revotes before this deadline and get us to 3. Not doing so is a waste of time.
As long as no one voting for the four contenders now is thinking about changing, this is fine with me. It makes me nervous when one or two people start telling everyone else how the game should proceed though.

I totally get your final point there. In this particular case, this is in line with the discussion we were having in the chat at the end of the last game thread. There, I mentioned that we should start doing this to help with the pacing of the game. I wouldn't have said anything if I was one with a revote. I would have just kicked it off.
Also there is nothing stopping someone else from switching even after revotes. I just feel like we often sit here and twiddle our thumbs, blankly staring at the runoff until the deadline and waste so much time.

That seems reasonable to me. I’ll change, but I’ll be around to change back or change some other way depending on how the rest of the day goes.
Yep yep, from home. Still doing pretty standard ~9-5 M-F work schedule, though my flexibility re: when to take breaks is higher than would normally be--depending on how many scheduled virtual meetings and/or deadlines I have that day.

How do others feel about this? Seems like it's up to me and Theo. I don't want to force the game to move faster than we want it to, but I'm happy to move it along if that's what people want

I'm always a little skeptical with people trying to move the game too fast. I think there's a fine line between being efficient, and moving things faster than some players can react to.

I think I agree here. I think a 3way is nice in between, it's efficient and can still give us info

I concur. I think going to a 3-way is best here. But still, it is looking like we will notttttt have a 17-page day, and I'm not mad about it As Inspector last game, that was a bitch and a half to sift through later on, and we never want to do shit that muddies the waters too much for our Inspector.

When I voted either you and Rooloo were going to get revotes or Maddog and Silver were gonna get them. None of y'all were in the runoff so it didn't really make a difference to me.
FWIW I do think waiting for the deadline and moving to a runoff is a good idea. I'm all for a quicker game but we don't want anyone to slip out without everyone having a chance to see and discuss.
