Yeah idk. Coming at me with a baseless claim after being silent AND being the last voter is weird. And then not only that, you switch your vote right after being questioned about it. Something just feels off and forced about it.
Since you had the final vote, gotta ask: why Jaz over LD?
My reason was Because I think Kanye is Mafia so I dont want to vote with him, but looking at it more I wonder if LDs chaos thing is a lil forced. Ehh yeah...

Everyone's going to be making mistakes of some kind, and because Kanye's talked much more than everyone else, he's going to make mistakes. That being said, I do think there's something off about Kanye. I don't like Jortles logic about his switch at all either. Going off of what I understand from previous games, there's a pretty good chance that LD and Jaz are innocent, and neither have done much to help the town at this point, so I don't see any reason for me to save Jaz at this point.
Wrote this up last night in case I had to use it this morning. Was hoping I wouldn't have to, but here we are:
Hi guys, I’m your inspector. My given name was LD. I don’t have much else to offer other than that, as I certainly wasn’t planning on coming out this early. I was hoping to lay low through at least Day 1, but I fucked up early and was called out on it, which I felt tipped my hand:
I was asking Jaz why is LD the one he thinks Danbob left out? Am I missing where he specified the other two?
Oops! Thanks for clarifying; I didn't realize you were asking that of me., or that Dan hadn't actually mentioned any names. My brain probably just made the connection since Rummy and Teddy were listed first in the post and LD was last. Didn't mean to put words in Dan's mouth. This is why you don't play Mafia while smoking and drinking.
I was indeed having a relaxing evening, and after some corn I had LD on the brain and thought Danbob had mentioned Rummy and Teddy but not LD. Seeing it as an opportunity to poke a potential accomplice of my given name, I wanted to see how Danbob would react to an insinuation of a potential Danbob/LD connection. That (along with my post early in R1 about LD and others being online but not voting) was going to be the extent to which I mentioned LD in this round; usually I would have preferred to not draw attention to myself. But obviously Danbob didn’t mention anyone at all, so as far as anyone could tell I was just bringing up LD for no discernible reason. That was my fuckup.
I assumed the Mafia would pick up on this and would try to get me voted out, so laying low wasn’t really a viable option anymore. At that point I thought the best strategy would be for me to bring LD with me into the runoff and hope it shakes out well. To that extent, at least, I feel I’ve been somewhat helpful. Otherwise, not so much.
I’m sorry to have to reveal so early, but at least we have the opportunity to get a Mafia on D1. And having a Maf and inspector on opposite sides of a runoff should give us decent pools of voters to choose from in the next Day. That's all I got.
I reaaaaaalllllly wish I was the Inspector right about now. Would love to see who Jaz is working with on this one.
How convenient that Jaz is down 6-5 with two hours before the deadline and then says he's the Inspector and got my name. Really convenient. I don't exactly know what I can say to make you believe I'm town, but boy this is what Mafia would say to avoid dying on Day 1.
I had a funny feeling about Jaz and possibly Rummy. But I wouldn't have expected it to come on Day 1.
Are you saying you think he's faking? Idk if anyone would ever fake day 1 before, but I'll hear you out (especially since I feel like I caused this with me switch :/)
Faking day one is super risky because you have to be pretty sure actual inspector has the fakers name. If it blows up it's 2/3 mafia poofed in b2b days.

Jaz had the last vote of D1R1. He went from Maddog to me, while Rummy was the other person besides me who could have been pushed into a runoff. I'd have to look and see if there's anything more to it than that.
Everyone was quick to railroad me for being the last person to place an original vote, but yet Jaz finds himself in a more prominent voting position later on and gets no scrunity for it.

To be honest I read the whole Jaz-LD thing as Jaz being inspector but I didn't want to say it and put Jaz in jeopardy if he was the inspector. I don't see any reason for the 'real' inspector to come out now if Jaz was faking. I believe him

It also means that we have a mafia in this runoff, and I would rather lynch the one who isn't claiming inspector. If we have a counterclaim now, we would have at least 1 mafia confirmed.

Based on either way you can read this:
1. He's saying I'm the given name.
2. Of course, the real Inspector could also have Jaz's name and this wouldn't be entirely true.
There's better odds of that happening than having a Mafia and an Inspector in the same Day 1 runoff together.
Mafia 94 (my first ever game) is the only time i can remember a day 1 fake. That being said I had been getting a read that jaz had more information that he was sharing so I will believe it for the time being. My vote already being on LD means I won't be moving.
Welllllllll definitely gonna move to null atm. I've thought something seemed a bit off about his game play so far (especially that LD comment that Dan called out, where Jaz's reply was like "oh! shouldn't drink and smoke while Mafia-ing" - idk, seemed out of character for him), but I also know well that off-seeming game play can easily mean Mafia OR Inspector. Last game I was certainly acting weird here and there, and it was remarked upon especially by Pablo who at the end said "damn now I get why I had a weird read on you, sorry bout that."
Want to hear a bit more from LD & Jaz both before making a decision, but for now:
