Tbh we just really didn't know where to go with it N1. It was between you and Potent. *shrug*
I straight up said to JTR "we will NOT be taking Loony Jortles' bait" because I knew he was throwing that out there as town. Wasn't gonna fall for it. Not that that ended up making a difference either way, but...
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
For those interested. These are my notes from day 1 lmao
Potent is not mafia I doubt jaz is I doubt jortles is I doubt Theo is I doubt teddy is I doubt Rooloo is
Dan seems off Maddog seems off
No read on Rothric
Fuck we should've kept Dan lol. He seemed a little off to me too, and since I knew he wasn't Mafia, figured was as good a guess as any re: potential Inspector to whack.

lmao this mightve been my favorite post of the game. just wasn't sure what that was.
Lol I was drunk and thought he was suspicious, I didn't want to throw in the fact that I was drinking when trying to dig myself out of that hole cause seems like a classic mafia excuse. I was laughing whenever everyone picked it up and started chattering about an accidental slip up
yeah potent is a game changer. theo really did a great job of not spilling the beans until it was a good time though. we should at least give him some credit lol. we werent super sure there. thought about whacking theo but i didn't want to poke the sleeping bear that is potent with a new role
Nah. But I was very curious about rummy talking about switching 47 times before you and I called her out. She did that after switching to save Tranter two games ago.

Doing Mafia tipsy usually goes well for me. Stoned or like actually drunk, less so, lol.

Btw I think killing a teammate day 1 is an interesting strategy. Potent and I tried it once with Thor and it worked only because we got lucky and whacked inspector n1. However, if you do get lucky and lynch the teammate that is the given name you can probably coast

Yeaaaaaaaah so I know I did it a few games ago, and when you called it out, I realized I shouldn't have done so again, but I actually did it with specific intention this time: I wanted to see if someone else would move off Jaz (seemed like Theo might), and if they did, knew the team could use that as ammo later on if Jaz was revealed as a name...I never was planning to move off him myself, like I did re: Tranter that game. But I still shouldn't have been so loud about it, OH WELL.

Oh wait Im sorry - When I voted for Jaz with the deciding note, I only did that because I thought Teddy might have a town role based on his passionate defenses.
Once Rummy started talking about switching off, I started wondering if Jaz was.
But also I was legit curious about Jazs shit story. Lol was slightly worried he may have a town role too. No need to explain yourself there. But yeah end of the day when I voted for Jaz it was inly because I was more worried Teddy could be inspector.

When I placed that "even up" vote on Teddy I wanted to see where you would land, but I was 100% wanting to vote for Jaz and would have switched had you picked Teddy. Primary reason was all the shit shit
And I just wanted to mention that one aim of every ref should be to not influence the outcome of the game. It's really one of the most important maxims to keeping everything fair for all parties. I forgot to commend him a couple games back but jn the game where Jortles had asked whether Dan was revealing the Doctor role to the Inspector, Dan did an excellent job of just ignoring it - it gave neither side any info and kept the game going. Also don't be afraid to hold your ground if you think it's ground worth holding - most requests by Town and Mafia alike are usually pretty fair, but sometimes there might be something you need to be firm about and you're free to do so.
Reffing isn't hard (usually) and can be fun in it's own way, but I just wanted to throw there since Theo, Rummy, and maybe some others have shown interest in reffing for the first time.
