A lot depends on the given name too; if Kanye had my name we probably could have gotten to D5 without tooo much trouble. I still can’t believe how similar this was to last game. Same town roles. Mafia attempts the same kind of distancing. Its like Town got a mulligan but Me Theo and Teddy got to be a part of both victories!!!

Eh, we may have won those but I don't feel like the fakes were why. The first time I self-whacked N1 and not many seemed to buy it regardless so one partner got voted off and other snuck through the rest of the game, and with the second fake I gave myself up to the Inspector unnecessarily and the third managed to slip through again. Maybe I'm not giving myself enough credit but those games were won mostly by my teammates more than anything I did imo.
OH, and this was discussed briefly pre-game and in the Mafia chat as well: what should we use to replace the word "lynch"? It's time to retire it. I think "kill" is a bit too broad but I have no other suggestions at the moment.

Yes thank you for the reminder to have this discussion! I was telling Jaz and MD in our chat that I’m just like....really not so good with the word choice tbh.
“Execute” is fine with me. I kinda like “exile” too lol—has the connotation of being cast away to a lonely island with the punishment of eternal solitude.

Yeah I recently learned the hardway playing with some friends of friends that the word is cancelled. Would not want anyone to be uncomfortable playing due to language
Next time I ref, I might just make a spreadsheet and do some random sorts in excel. Random.org sure seems to get predictable!
Yeah I'm not sure what the best solution is because random.org is mathematically closer to random than a spread sheet. It's the same reason spotify had to change their algorithm to be less random because people were complaining the true puesdo random algorithm was "playing the same songs too often".
