I guess a Smiths reunion is still slightly more likely than a Talking Heads reunion for example but I still don't expect it to ever happen.
plus with a Smiths reunion you have to deal with 2020 Morrissey. By picking The Smiths you can say "oh this was before he went nuts". kinda like the Kanye "MBDTF" pick, which doesnt work nearly as well for this purpose.
Lol. Imagine having the 5th overall pick in the infinity draft and taking Kanye. When Pink Floyd was the next pick, and Queen, The Smiths, Led Zeppelin, VU, etc were still available.

I'm just drafting what I want this time. I love his Coachella 2011 stage show/setlist and imo this is when Kanye was at his performance peak. I don't think you'll ever have an opportunity to see Kanye this good live again. To be clear I'm literally drafting 2011 Kanye. I've played like 5 of these drafts and have done well in all of them, I'm just trying to change it up this time.
I don’t know how you can argue that’s less likely than Talking Heads for example.
all of them are still alive right? Don’t see Floyd ever doing a reunion without Rick
I mean there’s no way to win this argument so it’s kinda pointless. Probably none of these reunite. Just don’t think Floyd is clearly least likely by any means when Gilmour and Waters are the only members actually necessary and they’ve played together relatively recently.

Speaking of things that will never happen, how do we think people would react if Paul and Ringo got together and started touring as The Beatles? Would you be pissed or excited (or both)?

Dk if you've seen the articles about it lately but Waters still has bones to pick with Gilmour. The other day he was accusing David Gilmour of banning him from the Pink Floyd website. He's kinda starting to venture into batty old man territory tbh.

If they called themselves The Beatles it would be really, really weird. I'd be excited to see it, but I wouldn't at all feel like I was seeing The Beatles.

I dont think they’d call themselves the Beatles. I’d be super excited to see them tour together. If they called themselves the Beatles I’d groan and ask why, and then I’d buy a ticket haha
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

Ya, I've the same feeling. Would be really weird but Id be down to see them nonetheless cause they're badass.

Paul would never use the Beatles name to tour. I also don’t know if Ringo is any good at drums still. When he came out w Paul at Dodgers Stadium, he was playing along w Paul’s drummer.

Comparing the batty-ness Waters, Byrne, and Morissey: One is not the same
