There's a big ad campaign here talking about how companies are really looking to hire people that competed in youth sports. That surely applies here.

Unfortunately won’t be able to be a part of the event tonight due to work. I know everyone here is very understanding but I know there’s going to be a big push for us to really draft quickly due to quarantine. Hopefully everyone’s a little chill about those of us that have to be out working during the draft.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

the first draw will be about 9:05 to make sure everyone gets in so if you get in then you should catch it all
