side story, i was in the pit when Bjork came out for that Bonnaroo set and there was an audible gasp in the crowd. one of the strongest affects just seeing an artist walk out on stage has had on me. and i like bjork but i'm not a superfan or anything. that is a powerful artist.

Yeah, same. I was just in complete awe the first half hour when I was her last year. She's magical.

The wife and I quote the high pitched, stocatto "thank you" she said after like every song that set. Mrs. Snowman was never a huge bjork fan but she was sucked in the whole time. Such a great show, musically and theatrically.
Things I appreciate about bjork is that I feel it's reasonable to think she allowed a Belgian man to be her for some amount of time. Really, I just wanna hear stories.

is there any video of that set? It was my first roo and I'm sure I was at something stupid like Forster the people instead

Good question, I'd love to see a video but I'm not aware of any.

Didn't she have specific warnings up about not doing video for the set? I seem to remember discussing it with mayonaise because we didn't recall ever seeing that before. That being said, doesn't mean video doesn't exist.

i know it's early in an Infinity Draft for Carl Cox but I just like him so much. when i think of dance music he's the first name that comes to mind. i love that he's managed to strike that balance between being both hugely popular and still "cool" with the cool techno kids (most of them anyway). and he did so by just playing the music he likes.
