Page 1: standard page 1 shit, Jortles stacks on me as the fifth vote with no explanation, not that there's anything wrong with that, just seemed a little quick.
I've been waiting for a tally, but my vote will be moving anyway, so no harm in throwing it somewhere now.
Does this combo of posts not read weird to anyone else? I just don't understand what SFA means, really any part of his statement. Reciprocal vote? We hate what exactly? Potent coming back at him just gives me this semi-flirtatious, distancing teammates vibe.
The last part is clearly a joke. Like most everyone's reasons on page one. You realize you could have asked me what I meant and ended your confusion? Probably would have been better than this being a reason for calling me suspicious for so long. Or at least people would have been aware of your reason.
When a player votes for someone they'd traditionally receive a vote back from that same person. A "reciprocal" vote. I choose to vote for someone that wasn't in danger of getting that kind of vote. In older games, mafia would sometimes try to sneak in a vote on somebody that had a reciprocal vote coming. It was a way to try and game the runoffs in their favor. That's why I have a habit of not doing it. Although it's really not that big of thing anymore because we start games off in a more chaotic nature now. This is extremely normal for me because I'm an old fart player from back in the days of voting partners. What would be suspicious is if I started out stacking on people and trying to push people forward in runoffs on the first page. I'm just a more cautious type of player, for better or worse. Especially early in the game.
My joke about some people hating that is just a goofy reference to the arguments we used to have about voting partners and general game theory. I've been accused several times of being too passive, etc. It's actually mostly a reference to ZIG who isn't even playing. The two of us used to argue about playing style, etc. But over the years there has been a fair amount of evolution in regards to the first round and how we should start off votes.
That's the boring reason behind my first page post.

Page 8, D2R1 First two votes are Jortles for Potent, and Carini for SFA, not much else happens
Page 9 Rummy votes Dan, calling out his unusual quietness. SFA gets super defensive, since somebody besides potent voted for him. Actually a lot happens on this page, I've been reading it for like 20 minutes now. Potent makes some massive logical leaps to get to his vote for me, Dan jumps on me too, hell Dan just starts getting a lot more aggressive in general. Actually, it's worth noting that Jortles says Dan/Kanye/potent are the "collective life of our games" on p8, and all three of them make a point on p9 to get much more active. There is also a lot of chatter on this page about me, but imo nothing super damning.
Page 10 Ah yes, the Silver Surfsplosion! After reading this whole cluster of a page over and over again, I'll eat my hat if neither Kanye or Potent is mafia. Potent especially loses his shit here, especially with the typo thing. Maddog comes in with the "flailing" comment towards Kanye, and I have to wonder about him too.
Page 11 Nothing much happens, mostly just Kanye and potent bickering. A little SFA self-defense, maddog calling out Kanye further for flailing, and Rummy being non-committal.
Page 12 goddammit I bit off more than I could chew with these recaps, I'm so bored. This is the point where a quiet game turns into the usual nonsense, and it's so much noise to sift through. Coincidentally, it's about the same time I stopped actively participating in the game...
tbh I wish I never changed my vote to Jortles, and we could've kept potent in the runoff. I wanted to find evidence of who kept him out of it, and that implicates me

To be clear, I did finish my complete reread before making my last post, I just didn't want to keep doing the recap thing, and figured I should at least keep what I had already written.
I actually don’t hate your rankings, more or less, Teddy—except for having me at fourth lol. But aside from that, I mostly agree with those I’m leaning town v feeling suspicious of.
I do want to keep in mind that Potent has legit been on a camping trip. That’s a real factual thing. But I absolutely believe there’s at least one mafia between Potent/Kanye/SFA
