Can't understand why kanye was so hyped that I ended day 1 without waiting for the round to close then comes at me when I ended the night round without waiting. He did end up saying I was less sus after some talking but I'm wondering what was different between the two days

Day 1 was fine because doctor had revealed and we had to exile someone anyway to get info and get to the next day
Day 2a was bad because we had gone through the trouble to let Theo place the last vote so we could go to a runoff with 3. Then you did your own thing to exile him

As have already mentioned, I don't think Dan's move was that of a mafioso. But I do hear Kanye's frustration on the "this isn't a you game" thing because...I think that's been one of Town's main struggles as of late.

I will say, this game feels easier w/o SS but I kind of want to flip things.
Some of Dan/Potent/Carini with Jortles/Surfer would be nice.
Don't have much read on rummy/sfa, but both kind of playing down the middle.
Most troubling thing to me is Jortles transition from "Kenny FUCKING Powers" to Stevie Janowski. The cockiness isn't there, activity going back and forth, something off.
Day 2a final tally. Why would Danbob not think that Teddy would move to Rummy to preserve himself, or that anyone else there would move to Rummy/SFA? I feel like the people criticizing Danbob for this move are reading it incorrectly.
Me and Theo are town, and Teddy is dead so I'm not worried about him. Fill in yourself for my name. That means that, without Danbob, there are pairs of 2 on each player available - SFA/Rummy (on Teddy), Jortles/Maddog (on Rummy), Carini/Silver (on SFA).
I still think it is valid today to have a runoff of Maddog/Danbob/Potent/Carini, the four people who weren't in on D2a, so I think I want to keep my vote where it is now, but I'm not sold on Danbob being mafia.

No. I think we had a unique opportunity with getting the extra exile (due to Doctor save) to put EVERY SINGLE PLAYER in a runoff. We advance with those four today, and when we get to D3, we'll have (1) a whack, which points to possible inspector, (2) a possible inspector, and (3) voting data from every player having been in a runoff on D2, which I think will be valuable.
This says nothing of Kanye or Jostles innocence (or lack thereof) and instead casts the widest net possible when our information is low. Jostles talks about the game being different between pre and post reveal (and that's obviously, obviously true) so now we put on record every player and who they vote for/defend. Also, if there's 1.33 mafia in every group of 4, we likely had 1.67 in the last group and 1.33 in this group, statistically. I think it's wise to play the numbers.
potentpotables this makes a lot of sense, with one caveat (which isn't to say the logic isn't still overall sound): with such a purposefully constructed play of things in order to, as you said, have "on record every player and who they vote for/defend," it won't be hard for Mafia to see that and choose to act accordingly. Maybe normally they wouldn't risk voting for their teammate 3rd day (2b, essentially=3rd day), but knowing how good it could look on them, it might be more worth the risk than usual.
I worry the records/data we'll retrieve has more likelihood of being manufactured to manipulate [from the Mafia] than usual

Worrying about mafia manipulating shit is sort of tiresome to me. They are lying the entire game - manipulation is their job. We have to overcome that. I think we usually play thinking that everyone is manipulating everything, and just figuring out which manipulations are agenda-driven is the important part, and the tough part of course.

I prefaced it with being very clear about the fact that I think your logic is sound. That's just the one caveat I perceive as being potentially troublesome. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't do it.
