We are having issues with Aphex Twin and System of a Down management teams. SoaD said they won't play a festival headlined by Coldplay. We are hopeful something will get worked out.
Is that even allowed, dropping artists.. Just because?

He's obviously hinting that we should send him trade offers

sure, they don’t get a replacement but if they don’t wanna put them on their final lineup, why not.
If they explicitly say “we are dropping this act”, then they might be available as a FA?
Richard is gonna be pissed that he agreed to play Roo against his better judgment and they won't even list Aphex on their lineup promo.
After agreeing, he heard that there will be a mob of protesters at his show picketing about how unrealistic it is that he is there. Mob leader Rummy really damaged the way he views the festival. So we aren't currently sure if he will be playing.
Lawwwwl, first of all--if Roo ever did book Aphex, the only "picketing" I'd be doing is to get first row of pit for his show.
But also, are you allowed to just drop an act because you've decided you don't want to take the risk of having an Unrealistic Act like that on your lineup? I thought you're only permitted to drop acts if they've been cancelled and you didn't know when selecting them (like us with Ice Cube).
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Really? I feel like this is a killer booking. Honestly kinda bummed I didn't think of it.
they already have 2 #1s and a very strong #2, no idea where she fits in unless they are dumping one of the headliners like Jortles is
I had no idea she's that big. Just googled and saw that she's playing arenas in the south, so yeah. I mean she could conceivably be like a #4 I suppose.
Cause in the rules it's stated you may drop an artist in the case of racist stuff, sexual abuse stuff etc but not like... without a reason?
I'm not even talking about dropping. We have the rights to these two acts. Nobody else can have them, and they may not play at any festival this year including ours. So there would be no replacement picks or FAs.
Jeremy Fragrance , Superorganism was the act we decided was canceled for us last night right before selecting them.
I thought the allegations were figured out
I couldn't find anything that indicated that he wasn't a known issue in the community. People have done way worse and been canceled. We just decided they weren't for us.
