You're right, you need the special soundsystem called Despacio within which James Murphy and 2manyDJs play their records to have Despacio.
And Cirque Du Soleil makes sense, as the group of performers is called Cirque Du Soleil.
Cool, then you agree that you individually need to draft DESPACIO in order... to get DESPACIO?
No, its the soundsystem upon which these artists play their music. If Skrillex plays his music on some giant robot butterfly or something I wouldn't say you have to draft the butterfly.

I didn't know Skrillex would be booked as 'The Butterfly'?
nah dude. picking two acts that have a joint project together does not automatically get you that joint project. that has never been a thing.
If someone drafted Bon Iver and the National they couldn’t do a Big Red Machine superjam?
if BRM went completely undrafted and didn't go in Free Agency either, then sure. But we are still in the middle of the draft and Despacio is still an available pick.

Fine, use Deadmau5 and his stupid cube then. He billed shows as CUBE v3 or whatever, but if someone drafted Deadmau5 and listed the CUBE I wouldn't be like oh wait you need to draft his stage.

I think that's the issue here, is that for some reason you people were treating this mobile soundsystem upon which people can spin records as an act instead of a piece of hardware. It shouldn't be an available pick. Like if you want to rule it completely out of bounds then fine, but to treat a glorified set of turntables and speakers as a musical act is ridiculous.

But deadmau5 tours with and without his cube lol. You'd make the same argument with Prydz' shows aswell.
edit: so you have the choice to select 'his stupid cube' or not.

yes it is the issue here, but what you're not getting is that this is a debate we have had multiple times, and have come to the conclusion multiple games that it is an act. there is a precedent set here whether you agree with it or not. again, just take it w one of your next 3 picks and it'll shut all of us up.
Rules 1) Only "active" or potentially active acts can be drafted. An artist is considered "active" if they have had or will have three public performances of five or more songs between 1/1/16 and 12/31/21 (This eliminates things like Rock and Roll Hall of fame performances, one-offs for benefits, awards show reunions, talk/variety show appearances, etc.). One of these three public performances has to be in the US.

Which rule is this?
it isn't one, but neither is act 1 + act 2 = free joint project.
