Krauss was a Nathan pick so i'll admit i really don't know how big she is and just guessed at her placement
I liked the idea of having the bluegrass stuff centered on Thursday and culminating in the Ed Helms thing at the end (like how they did with Sundays some past years), but if it's gonna lose us realism points we should definitely look into changing it.
At the very least, she should definitely be billed in front of Papadosio haha
Krauss playing Thursday Roo 2021 is a -1 on realism, I'm afraid.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

That's fair. We'll shuffle some things around! Particularly given the size of 2020 Thursday, I think that's the right call

The bluegrass situation SJ is always Sunday. Sunday has always kinda been the “country/jam” day at Bonnaroo. It’s sort of a tradition. So moving that day to Thursday would be super weird.

the bluegrass country superjam is now on thursdays
Tbh I didn't know who any of the last three acts were before today lol--Bing is really pulling the weight on "researching into stuff zoomers would wanna see/Roo would legit book for 2021 even if we don't listen to them"
Also I went rogue on Koresma but I want him and....Bing can yell at me later if he mad about it

This was our initial thinking, but the people have spoken and on Sunday it shall be.
Fwiw, she played daytime Which in 2011 and I don't think her popularity has significantly changed since then (might be wrong there; I'm sure you'll all let me know if I am)

She’s just a legend of her genre. Other acts she’s associated with would probably be billed much higher, but really modern Bonnaroo might not have a place for her because of the cost/return.
Edit: tho she would be a return to their roots and an improvement imo!

I have a question about getting artists on your superjam. Say we hadn’t drafted Phish, but whoever has TAB had still drafted TAB. Would we be able to get Trey to play on our Superjam through free agency since Phish was still out there, without having to put Phish on our lineup?

I think in that scenario you could take Phish as an UDFA and then include Trey in the SJ without listing Phish on your full lineup as long as you used one of your FA slots on them.

I love how Pepe owned up to this and yall just kept going
It did lead to several people mentioning her dozens of Grammys and how significant she is in her genre, so I was pretty good with the free advertising along with all the jokes

this is a very slippery slope and I would say no personally
