What was the original issue in non-infinity Drafts with just having the backing band rule to where you couldnt take NY and PotR after someone else takes NY and CH?
Theres no question in my mind that the vultures need to be dealt with in the Infinity draft. It doesnt seem like there are as many important examples in the current drafts.
Yeah there has always been a backing band rule, afaik.

I think it was just preemptive Neil young stuff. Crazy horse might've not been put together again at that point, but he was also doing solo shows when we started?
Also before I forget to clarify this, in voting, you’re free to use decimal points. I plan on voting like 8.8, 5.2, etc. I think some end up really close. I actually encourage this.

Yeah the backing band thing seems self evident. That should be it’s own clause. But the basic rule should really just be that you own the act and not the individual members, all of whom are available if they have their own projects and are otherwise eligible (e.g they’ve played enough shows, etc). Drawing a line in the sand at six songs seems silly just because it’s kind of arbitrary. If a Wu-Tang solo rapper does his verse from six different Wu-Tang songs over the course of a 20 song set, that’s a world different than if Trey played six Phish songs in an 8 song set, you know?

Wow that Blacklizt pick did not blow over lmao. Both Blacklizt and Zhu were listed on the 2019 EDC Las Vegas lineup so it seemed like distinct acts to me. We'll repick.
That’s not even getting into the mass exodus of Adam’s peeps around 2012.
Let’s not forget the part when the mods refused to ban the admitted pedophile.
Was that the guy with the Casper avatar? I think that may have been before my time. But I’m vaguely aware of it.
And then there was the incident where someone tracked someone’s IP and doxxed them irl. Like calling them at work and shit. This site has def had its crazies.

That was me getting called at work.
As I typed it out I thought it was, but couldn’t remember all the details around it so I didn’t want to misremember.
