Superjam Info
Supreme Fishscale Clientele: This is Ghostface performing his best shit from the 00s. Mostly Supreme Clientele and Fishscale with a live backing from The Avalanches, Zach Hill and Just Blaze.
Freak Out! Superjam is an Ode to Zappa with Dean Ween, John McLaughlin, Cymande and The Expressions as the band with Serj Tankian among others doing vocals for some songs, but it will hopefully mostly be a rock / jazz fusion jam session and less of a Frank Zappa karaoke night. So Serj will just come through to sing a couple songs during the back half once he's done with the SoaD set. He probably shouldn't even appear on the billing and would be more of a surprise.
*braces for impact*
Honestly really like that you put Chappelle on for a full set, that seems actually logical. I wonder about stacking your SJ's onto Friday but they are diametrically different shows (that as a consumer, I would wish had the ability to see both and thus my arguement). This works really well. Thursday feels big but you hit on a lot of this.
edit: Is Aphex Twin under Mary J Blige a political decision?

1. Thursday is definitely too big for 2020... we are bringing it back to when Alt J, FJM, Purity Ring, Killer Mike, 21 Pilots, ALO and more could all play Thursday in 2013. 2. The SJs back to back is definitely odd I agree. 3. I honestly don't know where Mary would get billed. She doesn't play fests often, so we have the opportunity to put her there. Aphex was 5th on his day at Coach.
Aside from the shit that's probably gonna get discussed anyways; - I like the Maduk-pick, no one knows him but happy to see some Belgian representation being in here - Ellie Goulding is over billed (think it should go Dolly - SOAD - Big Sean - 1975 - A&B - Ellie) - Yellow Claw are overbilled - Electric Wizard is over billed - First Aid Kit and Mitski need to be higher
- Robert Plant would never be second on his day with those people on it - DJ Snake would be #2 on his day and should be closing of the Which with Aphex playing LN in a tent lol - would switch Brandi and Robert - Finneas wouldn't play the Other? He's a singer songwriter? Rest seems alright - Joanna Newsom wouldn't be billed that high
Sunday most realistic day of the whole weekend, wouldn't change a thing.
Overall, aside from some oopsies fairly alright line up all together.
edit: and yeah Thurs feels a bit big/alternative.

Getting stuck on the Which blows but I totally get it. I would have this back and forth too.

I think Ellie Goulding and Yellow Claw are properly billed

Sweet. - Ellie Goulding is over billed (think it should go Dolly - SOAD - Big Sean - 1975 - A&B - Ellie). Nope. 2nd on her day in 2016. - Yellow Claw are overbilled Will adjust. Thanks. - Electric Wizard is over billed Will prob knock them down a bit. Thanks. - First Aid Kit and Mitski need to be higher Bumped up Mitski after edit. Will work on FAK. Thanks.
- Robert Plant would never be second on his day with those people on it Ehh. I think it's reasonable. - DJ Snake would be #2 on his day and should be closing of the Which with Aphex playing LN in a tent lol DJ Snake 4 on his day Coach 19. Aphex 5th same year. We are fine here. - would switch Brandi and Robert No way. - Finneas wouldn't play the Other? He's a singer songwriter? Rest seems alright. Nice. Thanks. - Joanna Newsom wouldn't be billed that high Given her rarity, this is how we want to bill her.

Overall, aside from some oopsies fairly alright line up all together. Glad you like it. Can't wait to argue for why it's better than "fairly alright"

They feel very 2013 to me anyways so in 2021 it's hard to tell where they'd even land on a line-up like Roo. I don't know if a lot of people are still excited about Ellie and her album flopped. Don't know if Yellow Claw ever got bigger than a day time-type slot at festivals like Lollapalooza.

It's a joke that they were already throwing away this artist from the beginning. The podcast already had this joke in there explaining that it was a bad bet and that they were tanking their own pick.
I mean they're still assholes, but they know.

There's no context where this is ok:
“I mean, it’s Michael Jackson. I know more than half the people in this room have been molested in their lives, but it wasn’t no goddamn Michael Jackson, was it? This kid got his dick sucked by the King of Pop. All we get is awkward Thanksgivings for the rest of our lives. You know how good it must have felt to go to school the next day after that shit?”
Chappelle 2020 is garbage. He's coasting off his reputation and make tone deaf, reactionary jokes that punch down.
