I have this mindset too, and I think if you think about how this mindset effects your enjoyment of the last 10 or so rounds of any draft, you begin to realize how much damage Free Agency does to the game experience. You begin drafting things near the end where its like "fuck it Ill take one of these free agents and make them mine but this doesn't really matter at this point because I have 75 acts that I like coming my way in a few rounds from now."
That’s p much exactly what I do. I also just saw your post in the other thread and am board with this. It still leaves like 20 acts if you want that novelty thing to fill out a SJ like cdev said but vast majority are exclusives. This is a good compromise I think.
First 20 Rounds: 1 act selected per turn Rounds 21-25: 2 acts selected per turn Rounds 26-30: 3 acts selected per turn Rounds 31-35: 4 acts selected per turn Rounds 36-40: 5 acts selected per turn
90 unique acts with 20 free agents. Only 5 additional rounds. Every single round throughout the entire draft would be extremely compelling. Left in 20 free agents because it appears there are people that like to share acts with other lineups. But you could adjust the above to get to a different mixture and satisfy the other side... which I honestly still struggle to comprehend. It would be hard to get the 5 acts selected between you and a teammate? Good. Be better at planning and continue to pay attention throughout the draft. Plan ahead. Strategize.
I just want more exclusive acts than free agents and to have more spots total so we have the option of doing Who Stage, Comedy, Where in the Woods etc.
But I still want like 20 free agents so we can all completely fill out our schedules. I don't know what to vote
Direct action, especially strikes. Donating to organizations that share our goals. Continued protests. Not saying don't vote but it's not enough to only do that.

Also wow Jortles threw some shade at my wording, and then didn’t even bother to respond me
I'm still confused. If yes wins, is there a follow up poll about the current 75 free agents vs a much lower number? I just dont want Yes to win in a landslide and the prevailing thought is "ok we all like the free agents lets move on."

If yes wins, there won’t be another poll. But there will be significantly less FAs than 75.

Ok I'm going to stay on no in that case. If the compromise ends up at 40-50 free agents, I would greatly prefer none to that. So I feel like No gets me much closer to my ideal world. I mean it actually is my ideal, but I can recognize why someone else would want 20 or so.
I think having a poll that is essentially 'do you want zero free agents or between one and a hundred?' is probably predestined for a specific result. (As is evidenced by several people seeming to vote no because of a lack of clarity as to what yes means.)
We should have been voting on packages of options. Maybe a jungle primary followed by a top two runoff. It's not like we don't have the time to do this right.

Changing my vote to yes, but to be more specific I like the idea where we draft multiple artists in a round and we end up with like 20 free agents or something

This seems to be the consensus. Fred and I will talk about the best route.
