Would highly recommend Rufus's live concert movie in Joshua Tree if you are looking for a 45 minute journey. Hot take, but they could be first electronic Coachella headliner. I would say ODESZA is currently better positioned for that honor, but I don't think Rufus is too far behind. Both definitely need another successful album and continued upward commercial trajectory, but ODESZA may be in more need of a fresh album as they toured AMA into the ground.

Calvin Harris headlined in 2015, pretty sure Chemical Brothers did also back in the day. And I think Swedish House Mafia closed the main stage once maybe? Either way, your point that they could be huge stands.

Sigh. Worst part about this is I had “next electronic headliner” but looked at all the lineups on the website and just glossed over Calvin. (Bjork & Beck headlined in ‘99 & ‘02 over Chem). I’m going to bed

Lol I still think you're right, people really love Rufus and they're "cool" enough to headline
