Yeah. Should be billed “Ghostface Killah & DOOM (Live From The Other Side of Time)”.
I’ll tell y’all the story with this. The whole thing was supposed to be a collaboration between DOOM and Ghostface performing the Doomstarks project. We got a lot of press behind it and everybody assumed it was gonna be like a hologram MF Doom but it was just a recording. DOOM recorded the video from Grenada and sent it in a week before the festival.
The day of the festival, we get a call from Ghostface’s agent saying that he doesn’t want to hop on the flight to Miami. He finally arrives to Miami and is in the hotel that my gf booked for him and this man says he doesn’t want to play the festival. We literally had to get an intern to knock on his hotel room door and pretty much beg him to play.. Ghostface finally agrees to play and shows up to the festival and the first thing he asks is “Where’s Doom at?”. This man thought that MF Doom was actually gonna be there, meaning they didn’t rehearse or even communicate about the performance lol. It ended up being just the MF Doom video with awkward pauses during Ghostface’s part. And then Ghostface coming out and performing 4 Wu-Tang songs lol.

Sure thing. I'm gonna hold off on posting these in general for a bit, so that a few more people are active when I do it. Also gonna hopefully go back to bed before long. Woke up feeling sick as a dog.
