Ok so my scores didn’t save for some reason but I know The Bulls won (I believe 16-14). I’ll post the final bracket / official score image later. Sorry this isn’t an exciting victory post but my class ran over.
Congrats to The Bulls at 1 and Frazzledrip (Sponsored by Wayfair) at 2
We're post game - so real question, if we were able to flip Metallica for another HL how would have the reception been?
Also.. Wale should never have been LN for the record.
you probably would’ve lost quality points but I would’ve done Travis. It would’ve looked much more realistic and you would’ve had a relevant modern pop rap act. At the same time you probably wouldn’t have gotten as much quality points from anyone else lol. Phish would’ve been really nice.

they had lizzo for a modern pop rap act
right I got my 2020 HLs mixed up and thought they had Tame Still think Travis would’ve looked better for this game than two metal HLS

I think diversity and cohesion are key with these things. It's very hard to pull of a headliner trio that can build upon each other while also being as diverse as possible so that your festival can perceived in only a few ways possible (poppy, trippy, dancey, alternative etc..). Such hard hittings acts pairing with Lizzo or better Björk isn't sitting well with me tbh - I know these things are not so much the case for majors as for boutique/smaller/niche festivals but still. There's a reason why Tool, Tame Impala and Lizzo worked so well. I think the first two work really well together. So I don't think getting rid of Metallica would've solved a lot for me personally.

see I think if they had swapped either Rage or Metallica with, let's say, Arcade Fire, The Strokes, or LCD, that would bump their realism points up a ton
