As someone who likes crowding up close to connect with the band and enjoy the energy and enthusiasm of die-hard fans, I had mixed feelings on attending a socially-distanced show. But with the reality of COVID-19, socially-distanced shows might be the only game in town for a while. Hopefully, with this thread, we can share our experiences & recommendations with those thinking of venturing out. Feel free to cover facilities, food/beverage, sound, performance, and above all else- SAFETY.
I'll go first. Last night, we attended The Lone Bellow's performance at The Blu Grotto Restaurant, Monmouth Park (Oceanport), New Jersey.
Facilities - Tickets were sold in groups of 2 (very few), 4 (most of what was offered) and 6 per small table. Maybe 500 tickets were offered for sale. The twos ran out quickly; we only bought tix on Tuesday when they reduced some of the 4's to 2's. There were tables on the restaurant's patio and on the lawn, closer to the stage. Staff were numerous, helpful, and on top of things. Overall, we felt comfortably safe with this arrangement. Food/Beverage- There was a $20 minimum per patron, so we made it a dinner date. We had reasonably-priced burgers and delicious pints of local craft ales. Sound- raised, outdoor stage (like a small festival side-stage) with simple PA system, but sound was very clear, if not loud. Performance - It was an acoustic set from just the trio of Zach, Kanene and Brian. Very enjoyable, if you like their brand of indie/folk/Americana- their three-part harmonies sounded great in the night air. They have three more small shows in the Northeast. Opener: Brian Dunne, singer/songwriter/guitarist- also enjoyable. Clapping hurt my ears. God, I'm out of shape... Safety- Overall, we felt as safe as going to the supermarket or a restaurant. It was not hard to stay distanced. One exception- the restrooms after the show attracted lines, a possible source of trouble. I declined and held it for a while (but found an empty bathroom inside the restaurant).
Overall- I'd do this again.
Anyone else attend a socially-distanced show in the last couple months? Or planning on one?
While not a big GWAR fan, I'm doing one of two shows at the local baseball field in a week. It's a stay in your car/BYOB affair so I'm excited for that.
I think tickets were sold per car (up to 4 occupants) for like $90. I know they aren't selling food or drinks or merch.

Went to a Jon Pardi drive in concert in our stadium's parking lot on Friday. The way it was set up is you paid one price per vehicle and that got you a space to park and a space to tailgate next to your car. Bringing your own F&B was encouraged. You were supposed to wear a mask when you left your space, but nobody was. Bunch of people roaming around and partying. However, since I didn't roam around myself, nobody outside of my group really came within 6 feet of me. Felt pretty safe. And it was just a ton of fun to be out in that atmosphere. Picked up tacos and a gallon of margarita from a Mexican spot on the way and had so much fun.
The music was boring and too low. Really just went to see what it was like.

I watched the drive-in show stream of the Avett Brothers show and enjoyed it but I felt like if I was one of the cars in the audience it wouldn't really feel worth it. If you're close, great but there were some cars parked far away and at that point it's just paying a couple hundred bucks to watch a big screen in the distance.
Still....if it was more local i'd probably consider it.

my little brother and i went to see Nick Colletti do some standup last week. show was limited capacity and everyone had their own table. not quite a real show, but did feel nice just watching some entertainment on stage.
I went to one tonight. It was a live event industry only type thing and Jesus Christ. You would think the people that stand to gain the most at people following mask/social distancing rules would follow them
