"Im going to need some dates" is such a hilarious, but semi understandable, response to the Jesus pick. Like what are you even supposed to counter with, March 25th 20AD?
If I had drafted any of the ancient Greek philosophers or Buddha, no one would have made that argument or really cared, I'm guessing, despite the same being true and those men living long before Jesus did.
Jesus of Nazareth actually has more historical sources than any of those.
How realistically stacked should the lineups be? Are we shooting for having Beatles, Zeppelin, Floyd, Jimi, Jesus Christ himself, and 30 other acts that would instant sell out if they existed? Or are we going with the 3 headliner model? I would personally prefer the latter

Whatever you think is a winning combo. There's not tried and true approach.

I think Jesus and Socrates are outside the scope of the game tbh. I would say ineligible because if their existence is even questioned, then it shouldn’t be allowed.

No actual scholar questions the existence of Jesus. It’s not a valid position in the academic community based on all the extra-biblical evidence. There’s more historical sources for Jesus than Julius Caesar and Alexander The Great.
But I don’t think he’s a good pick for a music festival draft. It’s weird unless you’re doing a Sunday Service themed festival or something.
What generally wins then? I’d like to remain competitive.
a good, diverse mix up top with inforoo approved acts. I think generally it’s a strong #1, 2-3 good sized headliners after. Winning top lines in past infinities were Daft Punk - Jay Z - Nine Inch Nails - ATCQ Prince - Michael Jackson - Jay-Z - BB King Prince - Sia - Aphex Twin - Missy Elliot

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
That’s if like a bands bass player or something dies and they call it quits before 2010 with no reunions or new music or anything. Prince is prince. He isn’t just a member of a band. He’s dead so there’s no more prince

Source? Curious to see that.
And, to be fair, there would be a lot more evidence of the Greeks, Alexander, etc. if Caesar hadn't destroyed the Library of Alexandria.

An act is considered inactive if they have played no live shows and/or released no new music after 12/31/09. In addition they cannot have newly recorded music pending release and nor upcoming shows scheduled.
Shows of any length or do these have to be shows of more than six songs to render someone ineligible? Say a band has been inactive since well before 2010, but after that time, they participated in a benefit show in which they played three of their own songs.
