If I chose to have Kanye and Macca headline the same day that shouldn't take away at all from my lineup right? or even though we're allowed to have 2 headliners a day does it still have to be realistic that way?

I think that's fine, as I understand it they'd just be co-HLs like Blur/Stone Roses

but those are two small headliners so I'm wondering if we should only have two headliners on a day if they're small or it doesnt matter.

You can do however you please with your headliners as long as they're not more than 2/day or 4 overall. You don't have to decide which day they have to play until the end of phase 2. Only thing to consider is once you make them headliners, you cannot change your mind and demote later. Re: realism, I guess technically you can pick as many headliner level acts as possible (shout out to gocatsnu), but billing them as subs or 2nd line acts would look really weird IMO.

so Kanye and Paul headlining the same day is bad for realism or it shouldn’t be negative for realism?

I don't know what you mean by realism (I tried to avoid putting any voting criteria for "realism" since it means something different for everyone), but you can have Kanye and Paul one day, Taylor and Rolling Stone the other day and I don't see any issues with that.

I just wanted you to confirm that it shouldn’t be negative to have two big headliners on one day because for example KPO just said that would auto disqualify a lineup for him

i think its really too hard to even say this early into the game not knowing what the lineups are really gonna look like. with what you have rn i def think its avoidable and could be a little sloppy. if you have a cool idea i guess go for it but its just hard to imagine either one of those acts not closing the main.

A festival with Kanye + Paul would sell out more quickly than Drake + Frank (or not?), but that's just my opinion.
The way I see it, it's a Coachella draft. I figured we were going for a realistic Coachella. If we just go after the maccas, kanyes, and beyonce it's not fun imo

I have no plan I was just curious if I basically need to completely avoid headliners now or it doesn’t matter. Kanye and Paul together are just an extreme example

We can discuss what realism is for months, but again it's not part of any of the voting criteria.

Also obviously realism is partially subjective, but I personally think it's a copout to go after as many headliners as possible. Obviously people are going to be more drawn to it. If I played my cards right I could have Muse as the fifth name on their day but that's never going to happen

just to be transparent, i'm almost always anti-super top heavy lineups, doesn't matter the game. would much rather see a natural progression of acts from the HLers down.

That strategy rarely works. Gocatsnu, Jortles and Slack tried it in the past Infinity drafts and didn't work as far as I remember. As much as it looks enticing, it seems that it doesn't make sense in the end.

Yeah, not arguing that you shouldn't be able to do it. But I think it's kinda against the challenge of the game.
