I love how many people on FB are convinced that this tournament is fixed and scripted for coach K to win while ignoring that he is a legendary coach and has a great group of players. UNC beat them already this year and can do it again. Whoever wins in the Kansas/Villanova game could totally win too. Rejecting the fact that the Duke players are good and motivated to win for themselves and their coach seems silly to me.

Sigh. This is why the men’s NCAA tourney is so hard to have a relationship with. All this wackiness and drama, and we’re going to end up with a Final Four featuring names from the same select pool that are always in the mix for the title.

For Sunday dinner do you mean like supper or afternoon because most people call Sunday afternoon ‘dinner’ here like we would usually eat at night during the week.
You may end up having to eat at a bar in a restaurant, because whenever there is crazy shit going on, everything gets booked up weeks or months in advance. If you’re staying downtown, I can give you a recommendation for literally anything. But availability is a ? which was why I was going to say if you had transportation readily available (eg staying Air B&B and not a hotel) you can drive 15 minutes or so out of downtown/FQ/CBD.
Let me know the general logistics, and I’ll throw you out 10-15 recs.
Got to the free shows a little late last night so only caught 4 King Princess songs. Caught all of Arcade Fire and in Arcade Fire style they left the stage with Preservation Hall and second lined out the venue and into the Quarter. We ran in front of the second line and I got front row of them marching by. It was a great, fun show and I am exhausted.
