I’m pretty sure for college basketball, unless one of the title teams is within a 4 hour drive to the venue - the championship game usually tanks in ticket prices the day after the final 4. Even for UNC/Kansas fans, it’s another two nights of paying for lodging and having to get both Monday and Tuesday off work.
Definitely a great opportunity if you live near New Orleans.

Being in a football stadium, and the players on the court looking like ants from the upper deck probably doesn't help
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

The game was in the arena, where we hold regular basketball games, not in the Superdome. The last time we had the Final Four here the prices were just as cheap. I just thought that was the way it was.
So I must be thinking of the women's. Damn those men.
In 2013, the women's tournament was at the New Orleans Arena. And UConn won the championship. NOLA was supposed to host again in 2020, but that obviously didn't happen.
Well my GPS wanted to prove a point that it was indeed at the Superdome because it took me some stupid route home and right through final four traffic and I drove right pass the Superdome.
Edit: it's very obvious I don't follow the college basketball. I only go to all the free events that I'm able. There are always plenty.

My brother is a basketball coach. He pointed out to me today that a few years ago we went to AAU tournament in VA Beach (Boo Williams) and saw Bacot and McCormick in that game (also Gonzaga G Rasir Bolton, Spurs star and gold medalist Keldon Johnson, and some dude testing up the G League).
I cannot sustain this level of stress for another 1.2 hours but here we go!
I am financially invested in a UNC victory and regretting not picking the spread
they’re doing so well because of my lifelong emotional hometown investment in the team, so buy me a drink in AVL next weekend w your winnings? Xoxo thx

We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
