I literally wrote in my post that I recognize it doesn't mean much, but I was making the observation anyway--just as the "and then Silver wound up with only one vote" observation likely isn't anything worth coming back to, say, deep into D2 when we've got tons more to work with/from, but you know as well as I do that D1R1 isn't like there's much to work with. So I was mentioning one thing I noticed, along with the note that it prob is unimportant.

You started off saying "seeing Jortles name up there quite a bit," which I found stu... amusing. I was the first vote of the game. The natural progression of a Mafia game requires my name to land in Theo's documentation more than anyone.

Also I'm pretty sure Jortles isn't calling you stupid, he's referencing the voting stats where it shows a bunch of people not stacking on Jortles or anyone else for that matter

We have a pretty perpetual banter in this game, which has already been seen in the start of the game here. I wasn't making some Super Earnest and Important observation. My whole post wasn't a joke, no, but my pointing out that you're up there quite a bit, the tone of that was supposed to be more jest-y than serious, like a "hmmm look at Jortles already looking so sus here....in D1R1 when obviously these little pieces of info don't matter much at all." You know I know this game well enough to not think this is some sort of smoking gun lol.

Well it happens often that Maf Members consciously choose to stack or not to stack (that is the question)
E.g. either strategically opt to not stack onto their teammate in effort to keep them out of the runoff or choose TO stack on them because #distancing of course
I can't recall which specific games we've had where it turned out that Maf did the former (avoiding stacking onto a teammate) but certainly it happens more than occasionally.

I get the logic, but I’m just wondering if the number of random votes just muddies the waters to the point where the information is essentially worthless.
So I had an idea. Too late for it now, but the gist of it was to have veteran players sit back and coach new players during the game (if they were town or Inspector.)
The hilarity of the fact that I was considering switching over to Silver in part bc was admittedly curious to see if, since you're usually the one who comments on "omg there goes Rummy saving her teammate so blatantly out of a run off again," and I would've effectively been saving YOU by switching to throw Silver in instead, that would've raised similar commentary out of you or not. Since obviously you would know this time it wasn't Maf saving Maf.

The round is currently scheduled to end at 10pm. If there are any more vote changes, an extension will be triggered. If there are no vote changes and I am not here at 10pm, consider the next round having commenced. If an auto extension is triggered, it will go until 10am EST tomorrow at the earliest. If an extension is requested in the thread, consider it granted if it comes before 10pm, with the same earliest deadline of 10am tomorrow.

Revotes will go to KPO, Theo, and MD--one of which is in the run off himself (Theo). KPO has one vote, from MD, a fellow re-voter, while MD has none.
(and no, Jostles, I'm not claiming any of this comprises Big Deal Stats, just citing observation of where we're at before we move onto this next round.
