To Superfurry’s initial point, AEG - starting with Buku and moving into Hangout, Firefly and Electric Forest - partnered with Autograph to enhance the festival experience via NFT. I understand generally what NFT’s are, but this is a bit over my head. What I think it’s saying is that some of the graffiti work will be digitized but also people who go to their exhibit would be able to make their own NFT poster or whatever. Kind of cool and something I’d want to check out, but hopefully one of y’all can explain better what this is.
This is because of GameStop's NFT Marketplace which is actually GameStop x Loopring x Immutable X. With LRC getting the spotlight now, IMX is expecting a Q2 implementation. Maybe a good DCAing opportunity. LRC is #71 market cap rn and IMX is #120. Lots of room to grow

Ryan Cohen bought 100k more shares of GameStop yesterday and the “meme” stocks have all started moving up again.
But with what? Have they announced more details? It’d be nice to see Marvel doing more outside of VeVe. Nike has RTFKT, who I’d be shocked if they bothered to list stuff on GameStop. And DC just announced their first project with a Batman thing that looks pretty lame.

all are being integrated into GME / Immutable marketplace. I believe the DC stuff already is integrated. I’d hate to look but I think VeVe is as well.
I think there’s going to be a big chunk of existing NFT projects they will be integrated and available on the GME / Immutable marketplace from the start and from the rumors I’ve seen, there are a ton of creators (companies and individuals) that already signed up as creators and have already built initial NFT projects to be ready when the market is fully released.

Where did you see those are being integrated? Nike has no NFTs outside of everything RTFKT.
Immutable is decent, but it's full of fakes/rugs. I'm looking at a fake Mutant Ape Yacht Club collection on there right now. With OpenSea, Looks Rare, and whenever the hell Coinbase launches, what market gap would this even fill? Gamers hate, hate, hate NFTs with a burning passion. Ubisoft's attempt to launch an NFT marketplace has crashed and burned. I don't see how GameStop, a company desperately falling behind, is going to add any value to the NFT landscape.
The RTFKT news was like a year ago, even before GME was officially announced as involved. Based on the things I’ve been reading, it looks like there will be a lot of new projects that come online when the marketplace starts, and these other projects that are already out there will be integrated into the GME marketplace too. OpenSea as well.

Huh? Nike announced the acquisition of RTFKT on December 13 last year. When did Nike say/announce it was listing NFTs anywhere...? Nike has literally only purchased RTFKT and put its logo on its latest MNLTH airdrop. That's it for their NFT involvement thus far.
New projects launching around GameStop...? Why would OpenSea integrate with another marketplace...? It don't make no sense, bud.

Immutable and RTFKT announced their collaboration in like March / April 2021. Since that time, Nike has gobbled up RTFKT and GameStop has essentially gobbled up Immutable.
I think last November / December GME when announced their NFT marketplace, they also opened up applications for creators to build new NFT projects on the new platform. Initial applications closed a while ago and those initially approved “creators” had to have projects completed by end of February. The rumor is that the “creators” range from big companies to artists to non-profits etc. with a wide array of NFTs, not just “digital jpegs”. RTFKT is already working in the NFT “bridging with physical” space so Nike and shoes makes a ton of sense. (GME has been massively expanding their eCommerce / warehousing capabilities -> buy Nike NFT on GME marketplace, receive NFT in wallet, GME ships physical shoe to address).
As for OpenSea, it’s on the polygon side chain. Integrate or die. It’s key for layer-2 solutions to bridge with each other to create a connected network. If OpenSea wants to stay a walled garden on their fun side chain, they will die a painful death.
Warning, if you made it this far, I’m an idiot.

The rumor for LRC is that they're building an entire DEX on top of the gamestop nft marketplace. There's also another rumor that GME is gonna stock-split into NFT Shares offered on LRC/NFT Marketplace, and that the DEX is gonna be a decentralized stock exchange as well.
I've moved pretty much all my alts into LRC because of those rumors. It has such a small market cap and so much potential.
99% of my crypto is bitcoin, but I had some extra ETH laying around and I rolled it all into LRC thanks to your encouragement. I had some before when the reddit peeps were going crazy about it during the bull, but I sold at some point. Hopefully it will pop and help me on my journey to 1 btc

Here's just a couple, but these are NFTs that are transferrable across games on the upcoming Gamestop metaverse. This is literally exactly what I was hoping for when I gave the Master Sword example last year. The reign of microtransactions only feeding the developers is coming to an end. Power to the players.

I read Immutable x confirmed that GameStop has 2 major unknown gaming companies as part of the marketplace launch. Epic games, Pokémon have been two potential options that would fit that are rumored. Obviously Activision / Blizzard with the merger with Microsoft would be probable at some point as well.
E Sports League (ESL) has confirmed they will be part of the marketplace maybe 2 months ago as well.
I’ve seen tweets from Habbo and Kongregate confirm as well.
And this is just the Immutable x stuff. It will be interesting to see what the GME Loopring marketplace brings too since that hasn’t had any official public details emerge yet.

You can change usernames on gamestop nft marketplace now. They're confirmed as unique, I snagged Rayquaza in hopes of a rich pokemon fan wanting to buy it

I'm locking down a few lol. Got bonnaroo and coachella. I also own the bonnaroo.sol domain. Got excited when Coachella did their NFTs through Solana cause I already owned Bonnaroo's, but we'll see if the domains ever become a thing
