Your problem is that it rings of the "doth protest too much" theory of mafia playing. You made a vote, people questioned it. You aren't in the runoff or in danger of being exiled, so there's just not much reason for you to sweat people questioning you right now, because by the time D2 rolls around, we'll have a whack, we'll have the role reveal of D1, and it's quite possible that people will forget about the reasons for your vote. But the fact that you keep trying to justify it makes you look more guilty.
I buy your reasoning that A) you wanted to vote opposed to KPO, and B) you don't find Jortles sus, and my initial comment on Dan's post not buying your reasoning was because you voted for me, and nothing else. No reason to lump me in with anyone else. As people have been questioning your vote, I've stayed away because I don't actually find it all that sketchy.

I think you can relate to the “getting frustrated when questioned a lot as a townie early on,” because the other option was...me not reiterating my rationale and thus people saying I’m dodging the question. Feels like a lose lose situation and therefore frustrated me. But I’ll let it go

Yeah I don’t think mafia is blatantly out there saving their teammate. But I do hypothesize that Maf could be muddying some waters with a lot of movement; we have yet to see the different ways mafia might use The element of role reveals for divergent tactics than we’re used to seeing

So with role reveals, I’m gone tomorrow (If you opt to believe Jorts) and you find out I’m town, so then you’d bemoan overnight that you exiled a townie and get rid of the real maf (jostles) on D3.
Im guessing they believe the math of it to behoove them, by town wasting an exile on me tomorrow and it not being D3 til they learn Jostles lied. Then town will know real inspector is somebody else and we will just have to fucking hope our real guy hasn’t been whacked.
