A total of five ppl, literally half of the players, said they weren’t “buying” my vote even though I’d already articulated the reasoning quite clearly and IMO was more than enough reasoning for a D1 vote.
If I was Maf, I’d be chilling/hanging back on this one here rather than getting frustrated by it. I def can get defensive further into the game when Maf but not d1–I’m just a genuinely annoyed townsperson rn.

Then I'm sitting on Theo, you and Dan (IIRC) superstack on Theo, then all of the movement to me puts me in the next runoff. People keep saying they are suspicious of me but don't really give any reasons. I think the late movement onto me in Round 2 is very suspicious, and regardless of what happens today, needs to be reviewed on D2.

Gonna be honest I have no idea why I didn't make it into the runoff, but that's been confusing me for a while. Bickering between Dan and Rummy feels more like town vs. town than anything else, though I can easily be wrong about that

It was my fault. I've been thinking a lot about it. There was a lot of silence overnight and switched from you to Jortles. I think Jortles is town and people should vote for me right now. I'm not as clear about you, but also, I believe in the egalitarian D1 method and it was your turn to be D1 exile. I should have stuck with my gut on that, regardless of your status.

Your problem is that it rings of the "doth protest too much" theory of mafia playing. You made a vote, people questioned it. You aren't in the runoff or in danger of being exiled, so there's just not much reason for you to sweat people questioning you right now, because by the time D2 rolls around, we'll have a whack, we'll have the role reveal of D1, and it's quite possible that people will forget about the reasons for your vote. But the fact that you keep trying to justify it makes you look more guilty.
I buy your reasoning that A) you wanted to vote opposed to KPO, and B) you don't find Jortles sus, and my initial comment on Dan's post not buying your reasoning was because you voted for me, and nothing else. No reason to lump me in with anyone else. As people have been questioning your vote, I've stayed away because I don't actually find it all that sketchy.
