Finally getting around to The Armed. It sounds like trash on my phone. But not sure it will be any better on better speakers. There were some cool parts that cut through the noise later on the album. Searching for those post rock things next.

if you liked the Armed I'd have to reevaluate my stance not just on that band but on my very concept of existence
Veik - Surrounding Structures (for all post-punk fans, don't sleep on this!)
HM: Mon Laferte - Seis Godspeed You! Black Emperor - G_d's Pee AT STATE'S END! Shelley FKA DRAM - s/t Myd - Born a Loser Charm La'Donna - La'Donna Kučka - Wrestling
HM: Godspeed You! Black Emperor - G_d's Pee at STATE'S END!
Didn't give any more context about this album but if you like King Krule, Slint, black midi and some Radiohead. You might like this. Really nice blend of art rock, indie, nu jazz and some electronics here in there. The band (members) themselve fit nicely into that black midi, black country, new road sphere cause they're a bunch of twenty somethings still going to music school or whatever and they met there and this grew out of it.
It's a concept album where every track symbolizes a gem and what the frontman who also did a lot of the instrumentation on here aswell, made of remind him off.

glad you expanded on this, had it queued up because of your vote, but the cover screamed ambient to me so I was waiting for a specific mood.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
