I find that the months I spend perusing Bandcamp are the ones I come away with many tougher choices. Some groups called Pardoner and Book of Wyrms released awesome albums this month, the former being post-punk and the latter being stoner psych-metal. My vote will probably go to one of these, as more top-tier releases aren't doing much for me this month.

I'm really digging what I hear so far of Book of Wyrms. Thanks for sharing this recommendation! Now off to check out Pardoner.
Gotta say, Pitchfork’s been on their game lately with BNM. Mdou Moctar’s new album just got it and this year has had Pharaoh Sanders, Vijay Iyer, and The Weather Station get recognized. It’s definitely got me on their site more than I used to be and checking out more of the stuff I’m unfamiliar with

Ya they’re fully on board the jazz/new-age train which makes for more interesting reading
I'm doing a sorry job of listening to all the music I've been wanting to this year, but the new Olivia Rodrigo album is pretty great. St. Vincent's was disappointing.
