"We've been playing fantasy draft games for the past 5 years with the aim to book the best festival ever. However, we have not been able to make it happen due to significant shortage of funds. By buying tickets for this one-off event that will happen at Rose Bowl Stadium, you will be helping us turn this fantasy into reality." - Inforoo

Aight I suppose time to promote my fest a lil bit here. Mine (Harness the Light--which I'm sure almost everyone already guessed because the cause/host/etc. lol) is up against Cool Aid, so let's look at the breakdown.
Bruce v Sir Paul -- kind of a tie here, IMO. Both are old white dudes who put on good live shows and are wildly popular among the boomer crowd, so they'd bring in that gen's $$$ for sure. Paul's got the Beatles jams to rock out to,
The Rolling Stones v White Stripes -- definitely think 2021 Stripes reunion show>2021 Stones show, both in terms of rareness (inarguably) and also quality.
The Talking Heads v Portishead -- a THs reunion would be huge, without a doubt, but at this point you also gotta look at the top 3 holistically. Harness the Light balances out the Old White Dude Band (Bruce) with what would be an extremely unexpected and especially popular among millennials & Gen X reunion of the White Stripes with the more niche spot of Portishead that definitely has the rarity [of live shows in recent time] factor. Whereas Cool Aid's top 3 is Paul, the Stones, and the THs--and sure, among inforoo maybe that top 3 appeals to some under the age of 35, but in the general public, it wouldn't much to younger folks.
Jay Z vs Jay Z--TOUGH CALL. Truly don't know how to say which is better!!! Shall we flip a coin for it?
Bjork v Childish Gambino -- imma just say Bjork & leave it at that.
OK instead of listing out all the rest in "vs" format, let me just compare the remaining 7 acts to the other's 7 acts.
Harness the Light: Sia, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, D'Angelo and the Vanguard, Tyler the Creator, Miley Cyrus, PJ Harvey, FKA Twigs Cool Aid: The Cure, Vampire Weekend, Florence, Kacey, Sufjan, Pixies, Brandi Carlile
We both snagged an act who I think realistically would be a bit toooooo niche for a stadium show like this (FKA on mine, Sufjan on theirs) but they're both super high quality acts, and I think having one act like this on the lineup is totally okay.
Overall, though, I feel like the energy level provided by the combo of these 7 acts is a little low for Cool Aid compared to Harness the Light: Vampire Weekend was *not* a very energizing live show when I saw them, and although I like Florence a lot, I would also say she kind of peaked a good while ago. As did the Pixies. Kacey and The Cure are great picks, and I imagine Brandi would be a good opener for this.
On Harness the Light, CSNY is the final "for the boomers" act to round out the selection for that audience and weren't picked for any promise of a high energy show but as a nostalgic reunion that older folks would be excited about, but the remaining acts would bring the energy for sure: Miley, D'Angelo, Tyler the Creator, Sia, PJ and then FKA being the niche pick I mentioned above that is equivalent to the Suf selection in that regard.
