When he was in Buffalo he had some issues (hit & run, theft).
leaving buffalo was so good for him lol
I can't remember exactly but didnt the woman run into the road, I remember it being bad, like he was probably drunk, but one of those things that probably would've happened if he wasn't
Three preseason games except for the Hall of Fame game participants, who still have four.
Waiting to see if they're increasing roster size.
Increasing roster size would mean increasing the cap I’d imagine. Seems like too late to do that for this season post free agency. Maybe in the next couple of years now that they’ve got all that new TV money coming in?
Yeah I dont think theyre able to increase roster size this season and just keep what they had for covid. It will still be paltry when it happens.. The league will say 2 more spots opens a ''myriad of options'' or something. The union will likely want 5 and theyll settle for 3.
So this still falls on the franchise for possibly covering this up? Its a shame and this still begs to question why this surfaced before right free agency.
My thoughts exactly. If you’re getting massages this often, you gotta put one on the payroll, right?
While looking into this, I also learned that there is a two-mile area in Houston that has 80 massage parlors and was part of a huge human trafficking raid by the FBI. So that’s fun...
Its interesting that theyre even publicly doing this cause the other attorney is a huge media whore. Why try to go at it on the same platform. If youre confident you have a good defense then stfu and get to court.
this guy is supposedly the GOAT defense attorney in Houston and he came out with this as the defense, what a moronic move
“Our team has been roundly criticized because these numerous brave women haven’t filed formal criminal complaints with HPD (although we have provided info to other organizations.) Here is my worry: When I ran for Houston mayor against the CURRENT mayor, I called for the resignation of the former police chief. I was thus reluctant initially in these important cases to provide info to HPD, at least while Art Acevedo was the Police Chief — even though my brother in law is a long-term HPD officer. Mr. Acevedo has now left Houston for Miami. Yet, I’ve since learned that my legal opponent, Mr. Hardin, has a son who is on [sic] of the exclusive Command Staff of HPD. I am not saying in any way that Deshaun Watson’s lawyer, Mr. Hardin, has a son who has a position that would compromise HPD and its investigation. I support his service, along with all Houston police officers — I think the rank and file know that. But, I am saying that me and my clients will go elsewhere to provide our evidence to investigative authorities. Stand by.”

Yeah, he was driving down a very bar-dense section of downtown buffalo, hit a woman, and didn't stop. He alleged that it was raining and he was distracted by a different woman dancing in the street and didn't know that he hit her. Generally speaking, you just don't drive on that stretch of road between 8pm and 4am because it's really congested and there are a lot of drunk people.
I think that this was after his arrest for guns in LA while he was on probation.

The 2000 first rounder ended up being the 2nd overall and the Redskins used it to take LaVar Arrington. A few of the 1999 picks were traded to Chicago so that the Redskins could move up in the first round and take Champ Bailey.
"Adam Streisand, the attorney for Berberian, declined to comment. Streisand previously represented Steve Ballmer in his purchase of the Clippers and Jeanie Buss in the legal fight that cemented her as controlling owner of the Lakers."
