The state will set up three mass vaccination sites at the end of this month at Houston’s NRG Stadium and Dallas’ AT&T Stadium and Fair Park, Gov. Greg Abbott announced Wednesday.
The centers are part of a federal pilot program to vaccinate about 10,000 people a day across the three so-called “super sites” over an eight-week period. The locations, operated mostly by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, will begin vaccinating members of the public on Feb. 24.
This is great, but it's wild that 8 weeks of 10k/day is still only 2% of the state population, and that's one dose/person, so really it's equivalent to 1%, essentially. Lots of work to do. Hopefully this goes well and expands to many more cities.
Do you think it's cause Brees won't retire or cause Jameis is gonna eat some Ws?
The team no longer needs Brees. Some pieces will have to leave because of salary cap issues, but this season showed we are a lot more than just Brees and you could argue his poor play in the playoffs (including injuries to him, Michael Thomas, Taysom Hill, and Deonte Harris, etc) were a major reason the Bucs came back to win. We beat TB easily twice in the regular season. I just don’t see how we would go from 4 straight division champs to not making the playoffs like some of y’all are suggesting

Cause every team have had more film on Taysom now and are gonna figure out how to stop him. If teams can stop Lamar Jackson from doing what he does best, how will teams not be able to do the same for Hill?
Somebody get me the Panthers in the phone cause I want their trade instead of this horseshit.

The rift that formed as a result of the Wentz/Hurts situation - plus his contract- kinda gives other teams a lot of leverage.
On top of that this guy is a terrible trainer. So if the Jags have an injury issue next season, its that guys fault. I swear Urban thinks this is just like college already. Grown ass men arent gonna put up with it, they get paid more than the coaches.
Jj isnt going to Pittsburgh if he wants to chase rings. For that he has to go to Green Bay, Tampa, The Rams ( lol ) KC or even Buffalo.

More reports about wanting to return to the Midwest than chase rings. Green Bay and Chicago especially make sense, given he's from Wisconsin and his wife plays soccer in Chicago.
idk what the bucs D line is afa contracts go but they've already got a great pass rush, I mean shit the big 3 were probably all better than watt this year. if it's about resigning JPP or Suh v watt I'd resign

A lot of the midwest is closer to Chicago than Houston is, so its probably all in play. Its just about the price he is asking for. There is nothing wrong with wanting a similar salary to what Houston was giving him but now he has to adjust to everyones cap space which is not so good, especially since its not going up. If he we t to a team that wasnt going to overly rely on him thats the best situation for him to play longer. So a Tampa would suit him very well cause he can rotate out.

I think it was pretty much the consensus that the Rams overpaid, but the Lions were trading away by far the best player in the two deals, while taking on a four-year contract. Stafford is good, Goff is not good, Wentz is even worse. The Colts are taking a pretty huge risk banking on Wentz on that. He was horrendous this year. One of the worst starting QBs in the league. The situations are not comparable. There was actually a market for Stafford.

Wentz is essentially not a guy you want on your team. PFF graded him #32-best at QB this year. He's borderline a starter, he's a salvage project, and he's counting over 128M against the cap over the next four years.
