I was originally confused here and had this same reaction. I think Maddog is saying this is a reason to stay away from Teddy from a self preservation standpoint. Like if he goes to the final round with him he will be the exile because people are protecting Teddy. Can't say I'm in love with that line of thinking at this point of the game, but whatever.

He and Jaz both unprovoked and unnecessarily hurt Tranter on Day 1 with pretty big moves, but we know base don last game that would be nothing new for Theo.

He pushed tranter in the final runoff day 1 when he didn’t need to, which could be distancing, but it’s a pretty strong move and buys him some time from being sus from my perspective.

That’s fine. I just was literally in mafia scheming mode with Theo lastttt game where distancing tactics like that came into discussion and then into play. So it isn’t that I’m not taking that factor into consideration but I’m not sure how much it sways me to “likely town” read on him when my gut is throwing out some question marks around his behavior

I know. Pretty common for a Maf to jump into accordance with an opinion posed by an unknowing townsperson, then it looks like they’re just being agreeable but didn’t bring it to attention themselves

Tbf Teddy never “saved” tranter but he was vocal about wanting me and ended up on rummy.
Yeah calling me out for being quiet is fair at this point. I've been taking care of my grandparents this week and haven't had time to devote to actually contributing. Also my first time spending time with them since COVID hit so Mafia is in the backseat priority-wise.
I liked our initial runoff of four and am/was happy with any of them going. I have some time now though so I'll go over things since I posted last and respond/analyze/etc. I tend to only play Mafia when I have chunks of time these days.
