Do these games seem to be taking long recently or is it me?

I asked JTR about it in the past, and he reminded me that per the rules, nights are supposed to be 6-18 hours. We got much more loosey goosey with the rules regarding that in the past year or so, though, and sometimes Nights would end in 2-3 hrs if during the day when most people have been online during that time window anyway.
I def prefer shorter nights--and also shorter rounds when they aren't the first round of the day (which I understand should be 24 hrs, in general).

I know I'm like, old and not fun anymore but sometimes I legit can't tell when people are joking in this game. Dan saying he was Mafia with you certainly reads to me like a joke (and I'm sure others did as well), but it seems like you're taking it seriously, which is kinda a bit of a head scratcher. I mean, if Dan is Mafia, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to even jokingly out himself. I mean I guess it could be a "hide in plain sight" type thing but otherwise I don't think it accomplishes much for Mafia-Dan. In the end this makes your reaction more sus to me than what he said.

saying that I'd think it would only be a move that makes sense if it was you rummy tranter. I lean most town to you over the others I mentioned so went kpo

I reallyyyy think that’s a stretch. Killing a mafia player D1 (and Tranter at that who talks a lot and can drive a conversation) when I could just switch and kill rummy?
Most of Kanye's posts are about Dan being mafia. Either Kanye was a town baiting mafia and he spooked them, or he was real inspector with Dan's name, or mafia whacked Kanye to get town to go after Dan. I remember in the mafia chat last game we were able to ignore all the inspector bait posts because they were either targeting multiple people which is impossible for an inspector to know, or targeted town, which told us it was fake. I think there's a solid possibility Kanye was attempting something like this just going after one person to see how successful it was, and I think there's a smaller possibility he was inspector with Dan's name (still a chance though).

Have the same thought here , given our Maf chat last game about what you mentioned above: makes me feel like Kanye could’ve easily been Town seeing if baiting would work. If he was inspector and his name wasn’t either Dan or Teddy, that would’ve been some bold (and sorta unwise) gameplay of being really loud/calling attention to himself yet only leaving town breadcrumbs that weren’t even re his given name
