My first dose the nurse did it in my dominant arm because I'd use it more and the second dose a different nurse did it in my left arm because I'd use it less.
They did left on my first shot because it was a drive thru, and I was in the driver seat. He did make sure I didn't have my arm on the window and let it relax to lower chance of pain later. Worked pretty well the first time. We'll see about the second.
I didn't have any side effects at all when I got both my shots, other than some pain in the injection spot from the needle. Was this the case for anyone else? Or was I given a placebo ha

Just got mine. Waiting the ten minutes now before I head home. Feels great Edit to clarify : First Pfizer
You’ll start getting more and more piece of mind back. I’m on Day 11 after shot 2. I still wear my mask in public, but I haven’t been doubling up anymore. I still avoid non-maskers indoors, but I feel less hostility towards them. I’ve been cooped up for 13+ months. Bet that ass my ass will be out at an outside bar or restaurant this weekend sipping on an adult beverage. I’m still planning to handle things responsibly, but no longer do I have to worry about getting really sick or dying from Covid since the two shots all but eliminate severe cases.

I bartend indoors with very little restrictions on customers and have been doing that this entire time. Pretty much just me and my mask and washing my hands all the fucking time. This is going to go a LONG way to making me feel better

I thought they pulled em? The store conwont works for was supposed to jab everyone this week with JJ but sent an email out this morning saying never mind
I was probably the first Inforooster vaccinated. First Pfizer two days after it was approved, second three weeks to the day after. Few side effects, been exposed to COVID since, no issues.
Life ver 2.0. I’m sitting at Wine Bar on Palafox for daytime happy hour. The last time I had a drink out, and I think the day before or the actual day they shut Florida down, we came here. Panhandle was low on Covid cases and we had hand sanitizer. New Orleans had been affected much earlier, and everything was closed down there. This place has a cool inside bar. But most of the tables are in a breezeway which is open at both ends. I’m all the way at the back and with my masks when the server is near. I’m not going to act wide open because I’m still wary of the fucking virus and will be until I get more than a toe in the water. But as someone who managed to get through this shit without catching it, it’s pretty damn liberating. This swig is for everyone who is on the road to recovering their lives. Cheers.
My wife got her second dose yesterday at 11 and she had a rough night last night. Chilled to the bone (literally shaking like she was outside in the dead of winter) and nauseous. Feeling better this morning, though. Tired, sore, headache. Hopefully that was the worst of it.

Ugh. Hoping she feels better.
Thanks. She said that she's doing much better today. Just sore.
