They havent cancelled anyones appointment ( so far ) who was expected to receive it today in LA county. Everyone is getting Pfizer instead. Its just going to slow down the rate but people are still getting shots. I got J&J on Sunday so consider me glad.
It actually is good. It means they're following science and doing what they would with any vaccine, not forcing it through regardless and lying to the public about it. Yes, the vaaaaast majority of people are not at risk based on the data, but the fundamental part of being a doctor is not knowingly harming patients, and this break is to better understand what kind of patients shouldn't receive this vaccine, and how to treat blood clots in those who have them happen. It's a delay of a few days. It's nowhere near the kind of issue as the J&J factory fucking up production.

Some other hotels released rooms for weekend 1 2022 and they havent forgotten how to gouge. The Saguaro is almost $1,000 a night while like a Days Inn is over $400 a night.

I'm honestly surprised they aren't playing Coachella even after Goldenvoice paid them in full to stay at home just because they preferred someone else.
